Steam’s Free Weekend is back, meaning that PC players will be able to get their hands on some incredible games, albeit for a limited time, at no extra cost. As such, the following games will be completely free to play until 27 July and better yet, if you fall in love with any of them during this time, you will be able to purchase them at a steep discount following the event.
Available from 23 July to the 27, the following games offer both single and co-op gameplay, and it seems as though there is an emphasis on survival games this time around.

Icarus
Developed by RocketWerkz and first released back in 2021, Icarus is a solo or multiplayer PvE survival game where players will be tasked with exploring an untamed wilderness in the aftermath of a botched terraforming experiment. Now, it will be up to you to explore, build, craft, and hunt in order to seek your fortune and prospects when it comes to exotic matter. Now available to play for free, Icarus also boasts an 80% discount following the event.

Firefighting Simulator: Ignite
We all love a simulator and Firefighting Simulator: Ignite is no exception. This 2025 co-op action/horror title is also free to play this weekend, allowing friends to team up to battle an obedient horde of bioengineered monsters called zeds. As you join forces with the rebel group known as Nightfall, you and your teammates will have to battle for humanity itself as you take down monstrous creatures, earn money, unlock skills, and build the ultimate arsenal. Following the event, Killing Floor 3 boasts a 50% discount.

Wild Assault
If you have ever wanted to play the likes of Call of Duty or Battlefield but as animal characters, then you are in luck, as Wild Assault offers just that. The anthro-themed tactical shooter built in Unreal Engine 5 will task players with working closely with their team to harness your instincts and charge into battle, often on all fours, and master your Valiant abilities.
