Meghan Forte: Whitney ( of Thread Vision) , on social media, you recently mentioned the importance of a branded marker design. Can you briefly describe to our readers, what that is and why it is important to design?
Whitney La Monda and Thread Vision Team: Branding is so important to establish a visual identifier for your brand and to evoke the appropriate emotions with your audience. Your logo is your identifier and needs to properly represent you and your brand. On some products a submark, or smaller logo derived from the main logo, is more appropriate to showcase the creating company and gain market share. We used a smaller submark etched into the belt bag clasp for just the right amount of identification and class.
Meghan Forte: How long does it take for you, the fashion house, and the influencer to plan and develop new products for an existing line?
Whitney La Monda and Thread Vision Team: Although six months to a year (plus) may sound like a long time to design, develop and produce a product line it will fly by!! There are so many components that go into each and every step of the process, we are constantly communicating with our manufacturers, chasing samples, sending comments and pushing the process forward. While we work through the behind-the-scenes our content creators are preparing their website, creating content, and most importantly their crucial marketing and sales strategy.
