Ticket, Setlist & Festival Rumours

It’s the million-pound question, you could say. Nobody is expecting the band to suddenly open their set with a rogue B-side but after Live ‘25’s hits-heavy setlist (which didn’t change throughout the run), there’s certainly an appetite for a few surprises. We absolutely want to hear the likes of “Supersonic,” “Champagne Supernova” and “Roll With It” until the end of time, but could 2027 be the year that Noel and Liam throw us a curveball?

As Oasis: Don’t Look Back In Anger filmmakers Will Lovelace and Dylan Southern recently told Billboard U.K., the band roadtested Definitely Maybe standout “Columbia” during the first run of 2025 rehearsals, with the latter saying the track “should have stayed on the setlist.” Imagine the scenes if fan favourite “She’s Electric” made an appearance, or what about “Lyla” or “Listen Up”? Could there finally be a spot for “Stop Crying Your Heart Out,” Oasis’ fourth most-streamed song on Spotify? After all, if the band are going to do it all over again, they might as well keep a few surprises up their sleeves…

If there’s one thing fans learned from the Live ‘25 tour’s great ticket scramble, it’s that securing a seat for the reunion wasn’t for the faint-hearted. Around 14 million people from 158 countries reportedly joined the queue online last time around, competing for just 1.4 million tickets across the 17 U.K. and Ireland dates initially announced. And for many, the frustration didn’t end when they reached checkout, as Ticketmaster’s so-called ‘dynamic’ pricing system left some fans facing a much steeper bill than expected.

So, will 2027 be any different? We’d certainly hope so. Ticket prices have been listed upfront, with U.K. tickets ranging from £71.50 ($96.36) to £266.60 ($359.31) depending on the date and seating category. There is also a ballot system in place, which will be the only public way to buy tickets for the tour: fans must register for tickets via the official Oasis website by 4pm (BST) on Sept. 17, and successful applicants will be sent a unique, non-transferable code to access an allocated onsale window for their preferred tour stop. In the U.K., the sale will take place between Sept. 25 – 27, with three onsale windows per day.

As it stands, they are currently not booked for any festival appearances in 2027. The last festival performance they gave was back in August 2009 at V Festival in Staffordshire, England, just days before they split following a backstage fracas at Paris’ Rock en Seine. Their Live ‘25 run did not include any trips to the world’s biggest festivals, all of which were no doubt trying to court them.

The chances of a 2027 festival run is slim, but not impossible. Reports suggest that Coachella bookers have made their pitch to the Gallagher brothers and given that their North American run surpassed expectations, perhaps they could be tempted.

Glastonbury is another contender, despite their 2004 headline set being considered a damp squib. The tour will be active at the time, and the band’s currently-announced dates in Manchester leave a potential gap on the festival’s final date (June 27). That said, it feels unlikely given that Liam was typically forthright when asked by a fan on social media: “It’s not happening,” he wrote. Consider this a long shot.

As it stands, the band is set to play 38 shows across the U.K., Ireland, mainland Europe and the U.S. on the run; that’s three fewer than the 41 total on Live ‘25. On that run, the band announced more dates once demand became clear, upping their runs in a number of major cities. If demand is similarly high for these shows, it’s hard to imagine the band leaving tickets on the table and opting against expanding the tour.

Adding in new cities, however, feels unlikely. The cities have been strategically chosen, with their hometown Manchester being the only location to feature on both tours post-reunion. Given the packed schedule and the logistical challenges of adding in new routes on the tour (and many artists’ preference for residency-style touring) additional stops in Europe or on the West Coast of the U.S. might not come to fruition.

Oasis have yet to officially reveal who’ll be warming up the crowds in 2027, but that hasn’t stopped the rumour mill from getting started. One name doing the rounds is Richard Ashcroft, who already had a stellar turn opening the Live ‘25 shows. Speaking to GQ after the tour, he described the support slot as “quite a gift that Oasis gave me”, adding that Noel and Liam had given the former The Verve frontman “an opportunity to reintroduce myself to a lot of people.”

The speculation only intensified when Boston’s Gillette Stadium appeared to namecheck Ashcroft in a social media caption on Monday (Sept. 14) while promoting the band’s date at the venue, prompting Reddit users to wonder if the cat had been let out the big. With the two acts’ friendship stretching back decades, there’s plenty of history to make it work a second time.

Depends how wishful you are. Speaking on TalkSport on Monday (Sept. 14), Noel revealed that the idea of touring again only came to him midway through the Live ‘25 run. “We did Cardiff and Manchester, and by the time we got to Wembley somebody said, ‘Well, you know…,’” he recalled. “We were having such a great time, it was like: why wouldn’t you?”
