Muslima Rep. Ilhan Omar released a statement after federal agents raided her DC residence on Monday morning.
Federal agents raided the DC-area residence of far-left Democrat Muslima Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) early Monday morning as part of an ongoing criminal investigation into her immigration paperwork.
Federal HSI agents arrived at Ilhan Omar’s home at 6 am and removed boxes of evidence.
The Justice Department secured a search warrant for Ilhan Omar’s home.
For years, Ilhan Omar has dodged credible reports claiming she married her own brother to defraud US immigration.
According to her limited bio on the far-left Wikipedia, Ilhan Omar divorced her second husband, Ahmed Nur Said Elmi, in 2011.
Ilhan’s second husband, Ahmed Nur Said Elmi, is her brother.
Ilhan Omar remained defiant on Monday and said Trump has targeted her with baseless lies.
“I’m ok. Make no mistake: this is an attempt to target political enemies and weaponize federal law enforcement. For ten years, Trump has targeted me with baseless lies and smear campaigns. This is just the latest escalation in his campaign of political intimidation,” Omar said.
“I will not be silenced,” she said.

The Democrat leadership lashed out at President Trump after the raid.
“For years, Donald Trump and far-right extremists have relentlessly targeted Congresswoman Omar with vile personal attacks and baseless accusations. Now, less than 30 days until the midterm election, his violent mass deportation machine has descended upon the home of a duly elected Member of Congress and her family,” House Democrat leadership said in a statement.
