Cameras Capture Biden’s Cheat Sheet Showing Hilarious Instructions: ‘YOU Take YOUR Seat’

Twitter had an absolute field day after a close-up shot of a cheat sheet provided by aides to Joe Biden revealed some hilariously simple directions for the President.

The insanity began with an image that surfaced during a meeting Biden held with wind-industry leaders. That’s right, your leader sought out ‘wind executives’ in the midst of a gas crisis.

The image in question showed that the President had accidentally held up a card prepared by his staff to walk him through the event.

Some of the instructions are comedy gold:

  • “YOU take YOUR seat.”
  • “YOU give brief comments (2 minutes).”
  • “YOU thank participants.”
  • “YOU depart.”

There’s even a first step where President Biden is reminded to “say hello to participants” upon entering the room.

Biden Cheat Sheet: ‘YOU Take Your Seat’

As you might imagine, the image of Biden’s cheat sheet led to widespread mockery.

Fox News personality Sean Hannity couldn’t help but take a crack at the effort put forth by Biden’s aides to keep him on track for a relatively brief meeting.

“The only thing missing was you breathe in and you breathe out. Don’t forget to breathe, Joe,” he jabbed. “And if you’re really good, we’ll give you an extra scoop of ice cream.”

His colleague at the network, Tucker Carlson, addressed the Biden cheat sheet during his Thursday evening broadcast, complete with a chyron that read: “Joe Biden, Who Has the Nuclear Codes, Needs to Be Reminded to ‘Take Your Seat’ & ‘Depart’.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=opZFWdhZzgI

“These are the kind of instructions you would give to a child,” Carlson said. “This is essentially elder abuse at the hands of his handlers.”

Twitter users also chimed in on the Biden cheat sheet, and some of it was downright uproarious.

There’s Something On Your Chin

Now, we’re quite certain every President has had a cheat sheet prepared for them during certain events in the past. It can’t be easy to remember everybody’s names, for example.

Former President Donald Trump was criticized for a cheat sheet during a meeting with survivors of the Parkland shooting which had questions on it and a reminder to point out, “I hear you.”

Those were questions and bullet points, however. Like a note you write yourself before going to the doctor’s office. Such notes wouldn’t include a reminder, as in Biden’s case, to say hello or leave the room.

The thing about this? The WH Press Secretary won’t be asked a single question about this tomorrow. Not “Why does the president need to be told where to sit” or “Who in the WH is giving him these instructions” or “what room does he need to enter “

They all see this. pic.twitter.com/ktiMqOHYfi

— Stephen L. Miller (@redsteeze) June 24, 2022

And this isn’t the first time Biden has been embarrassed by aides having to provide tips and instructions for him on a little cheat sheet.

Last summer, he got a note from his handlers advising him of either having mustard or literal egg on his face.

“Sir, there is something on your chin,” the handwritten message read.

After a staffer gives Joe Biden a note saying, “there’s something on your chin,” Biden wipes his chin.

Then appears to put whatever was on his chin in his mouth? pic.twitter.com/VvN17i4IWY

— RNC Research (@RNCResearch) July 30, 2021

YOU have something on your chin. YOU should use a napkin.

Kidding aside, the Biden cheat sheet is an indication of how closely monitored and handled the President is by his aides.

Last month, Politico reported that aides to the President prefer he use a fake White House stage for events rather than the Oval Office because it can be equipped with an easily-read permanent teleprompter.

“Biden aides prefer the fake White House stage built in the Old Executive Office Building next door for events, sacrificing some of the power of the historic backdrop in favor of an otherwise sterile room that was outfitted with an easily read teleprompter screen,” they wrote.

The White House has re-arranged the South Court Auditorium stage, blocking off a large portion of it (and subsequently making it impossible for reporters to even see Biden, who is currently speaking): pic.twitter.com/smSLuTgbdi

— Shelby Talcott (@ShelbyTalcott) April 28, 2022

The teleprompter has become a crucial part of the Biden presidency, a necessary tool for a man who often struggles to string coherent thoughts together when going off-script.

Now, cheat sheets are even necessary in between actual scripted speeches.

Now is the time to support and share the sources you trust.

Darwin spent part of almost every day walking his secluded “Thinking Path” at Down House, turning ideas over in his mind. Nearly two centuries later, neuroscience is beginning to explain why the habit worked: walking boosts divergent thinking, while the brain’s internally focused networks help combine information in new ways — one of the foundations of creative insight.
