Islamo-Marxist Abdul El-Sayed appears on track to defeat the so-called moderate Democrat in the Michigan Democratic Primary for Senator.
Stevens was backed by Michigan Democratic Governor Gretchen Whitmer and Senator Chuck Schumer.
El-Sayed will now face former Rep. Mike Rogers, who ran unopposed in the GOP primary, in the November general election.
El-Sayed has denied that he is a socialist, but he’s attended and spoken at at least six DSA events over the years, according to Fox.
“I’m not technically or practically DSA,” he claimed in an interview last month. “I am not somebody who is a socialist. I believe in capitalism; I just believe that capitalism has to be regulated.” He’s also been described as “a longtime friend of Detroit DSA” during a 2019 event where he was photographed with Socialist Rep. Rashida Tlaib.
Just a day before the election, El-Sayed was spotted at a pool party with Jew-hating communist influencer Hasan Piker and Socialist House candidates Melat Kiros (CO) and Chris Rabb (PA).
Hassan Piker was even in attendance at El-Sayed’s election night watch party on Tuesday, Fox News reported:

Outgoing Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer and Democratic Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer threw their support and with it, big establishment money behind Haley Stevens. Outside groups dumped more than $60 million into Stevens’ campaign.
Meanwhile, El-Sayed was backed by progressives like Socialist Senator Bernie Sanders (I-VT) and Socialist Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY).
His policies of Medicare for all, wealth taxes, and Supreme Court term limits mirror those of the Democratic Socialists of America.

El- Sayed is a very dangerous politician, who is not does not shy away from sympathizing with terrorists. While speaking alongside Hasan Piker, El-Sayed excused the March terrorist attack on Temple Israel in Michigan.
“I think it’s just critical for us to understand that hurt people do hurt people, and the circumstances happening 6,000 miles away can affect the lives that we live here,” he said.

El-Sayed took a massive lead of nearly 30% in the early reported vote totals. However, throughout the night, Stevens has slowly shrunken the gap.
Shortly after midnight, El-Sayed held a roughly 3.5% lead with nearly 500,000 ballots remaining to be counted.
The race will likely come down to the slow-counting Wayne County, the largest county in the state, and home to Detroit. According to CNN, “Currently Stevens is winning a slight majority of the vote in Wayne, but her lead has shrunk as more Election Day votes from Detroit and votes from heavily Arab-American Dearborn came in.”
