Elon Musk Opposes Trump In 2024: ‘Too Much Drama’

Elon Musk Opposes Trump In 2024: ‘Too Much Drama’

Elon Musk suggested that former President Donald Trump should “sail into the sunset” and skip a 2024 run for the White House because he offers “too much drama.”

Musk was responding to a video clip in which Trump, during a campaign rally in Alaska, referred to the Tesla CEO as a “bulls*** artist” over claims that he never voted for a Republican prior to voting for Mayra Flores in a June special election.

Trump also referenced Musk backing out of purchasing Twitter in a $44 billion deal.

“He said the other day, I’ve never voted for a Republican. I said I didn’t know that; he told me he voted for me,” Trump claimed. “He’s another bull***t artist, but he is not going to be buying it.”

Musk responded to the clip saying that while he doesn’t hate Trump, “it’s time” for him “to hang up his hat [and] sail into the sunset.”

I don’t hate the man, but it’s time for Trump to hang up his hat & sail into the sunset.

Dems should also call off the attack – don’t make it so that Trump’s only way to survive is to regain the Presidency.

Elon Musk further commented on a Trump 2024 campaign when confronted by syndicated talk show host Joe Pagliarulo as to what policy issues he takes umbrage with.

Pagliarulo listed a host of items in which America was unquestionably better off under Trump than the current President, including a border under control, energy independence, and lower taxes.

your response makes no sense. What about his presidency did you have a problem with:

Energy Independence
Lower Regulations
Lower Taxes
ISIS Obliterated
XL Pipeline Being Constructed
Russian Pipeline Stopped
Border Under Control

What — on policy — did you have an issue with?

— Joe Pags Pagliarulo (@JoeTalkShow) July 12, 2022

Instead of responding with policy differences, Musk pivoted to the worn-out excuse that Trump offered too much drama.

“Yeah, but too much drama. Do we really want a bull in a china shop situation every single day!?” he asked.

Some would say the drama was almost exclusively that of the resistance party – i.e. the media and the Democrats – in response to Trump’s successful presidency.

It’s also a nice luxury to be an out-of-touch billionaire and not have to worry about the list of items presented by Pagliarulo. Items Americans have to worry about every single day.

Musk also suggested an age limit of 69 for the start of a presidential term.

Yeah, but too much drama. Do we really want a bull in a china shop situation every single day!?

Also, I think the legal maximum age for start of Presidential term should be 69.

Musk Backing DeSantis

Elon Musk has suggested he could get behind a 2024 presidential run for Florida Governor Ron DeSantis as opposed to Trump.

When asked last month who he’s leaning toward in the next election, Musk replied: “DeSantis.”

DeSantis

DeSantis responded to the backing by saying he “always appreciate(s) the support from African Americans!”

“I’m focused on 2022, but with @elonmusk what I would say is you know I welcome support from African-Americans. What can I say?” – @GovRonDeSantis pic.twitter.com/SuWQVLMORE

— Robbie Myers (@robbievmyers) June 15, 2022

Trump, in a recent interview with Newsmax, left the door open to a ticket with DeSantis as his running mate.

“Could you envision a world, sir, where there is a Trump-DeSantis ticket?” he was asked.

“Well, I get along with him,” Trump replied. “I was very responsible for his success, because I endorsed him and he went up like a rocket ship.”

With Musk saying he’s leaning toward DeSantis but not wanting Trump to run again, it’d be interesting to hear his thoughts if the two GOP leaders decide to team up.

Now is the time to support and share the sources you trust.
