Emmys date night! Tom Holland and Zendaya blessed us with their presence at the 2026 Emmy Awards on September 14, and fans were thrilled to see the duo at an awards show together — a rare occurrence for the private couple.
Zendaya was nominated for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series for her role as Rue in the final season of Euphoria, which came to an end on May 31 of this year. Of course, Holland was in the audience to support his love. The adorable pair was spotted chatting it up to other Hollywood stars during commercial breaks.
Outside of their Spider-Man premieres, Zendaya and Holland usually attend public events separately. The couple didn’t walk the Emmys red carpet together, and there’s a reason for that. “Because it’s not my moment, it’s her moment, and if we go together, it’s about us,” Holland previously told Men’s Health.
Less than a month before the final season of Euphoria concluded, Zendaya’s stylist Law Roach claimed the actress and her long-time boyfriend had tied the knot at a private wedding ceremony. While the duo has since been spotted wearing rings on that finger, including tonight, Roach was singing a different tune at the 2026 Emmys.
During CNN & Variety Red Carpet Live: TV’s Biggest Night pre-show, Roach explained, “Well, I actually lied. She wasn’t married. They actually haven’t had an official ceremony yet. It’s gonna happen after the Dune press tour.” That said, Holland has referred to his Spider-Man: Brand New Day co-star as his “wife” for months now. As Roach put it, “I mean, she’s been his ‘wife’ for a really long time now, but it’s not official yet.” Our take: Sure, Jan.
After seeing the duo take the carpet (separately), fans started posting in excitement about the rare sighting. One commented, “WAIT OMG TOMDAYA ACTUALLY WENT TO AN AWARD AHOW TOGETHER??!! HAVENT SEEN THIS IN ALMOST A DECADE.” Another shared a video of the couple together, which you can watch below.

Another fan spotted Holland and Zendaya chatting with Chase Infiniti, who was also nominated for the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series for her role in The Testaments.
