Hillary Clinton Compares Trump Supporters to Nazis: ‘What’s Happened to These People?’

Hillary Clinton Compares Trump Supporters to Nazis: ‘What’s Happened to These People?’

Hillary Clinton made one of her more deplorable comments this past weekend, comparing former President Donald Trump to Adolf Hitler and his supporters to fans of the Nazi dictator.

Clinton’s analogy came during the Texas Tribune Festival in Austin this past Friday.

“I remember as a young student, you know, trying to figure out, how people get basically brought in by Hitler. How did that happen?” she asked.

“I’d watch newsreels and I’d see this guy standing up there ranting and raving, and people shouting and raising their arms. I thought, ‘What’s happened to these people?’” Clinton continued.

The two-time presidential loser then compared those Nazi rallies to a rally held by Trump last weekend in Youngstown, Ohio.

“You saw the rally in Ohio the other night, Trump is there ranting and raving for more than an hour, and you have these rows of young men with their arms raised,” she said. “I thought, what is going on?”

Hillary Clinton directly compares Trump to Hitler and Republicans to Nazis.

As if she couldn’t be more unhinged at this point.

Hillary Clinton Compares Trump Supporters to Nazis

What is going on, Hillary? What’s going on is that you’re – to this day – a bitter, haggard political has-been, who still can’t get over your embarrassing failures and can only respond by lashing out and comparing 75 million people who love their country to Nazis.

“My fellow citizens, this incredible journey we’re on together has only just begun, and it is time to start talking about greatness for our country again,” Trump said at the Youngstown rally. “We are one movement, one people, one family, and one glorious American nation.”

That sounds more like a rallying cry by the Greatest Generation – the ones who fought Nazis back in the ’40s.

.@HillaryClinton correlated elements of former President Donald Trump’s rally in Ohio over the week to how Adolf Hitler cultivated a fervent following.

There really is no gray area here. It goes well beyond thinking your political opponents are deplorable.

Hillary Clinton is a sick, nasty woman, permanently broken by Donald Trump.

Clearly only Nazis raise their hands. pic.twitter.com/hOhnCMh706

Pathetic and Divisive

Clinton’s comments about Trump supporters being akin to Nazis are based in part on a theory that people in the crowd at the Ohio rally were giving a “Qanon salute” … by raising their hand with the index finger pointed straight up.

Which, even if true, has nothing to do with a defunct German socialist worker’s party from the early 20th Century.

Democrats are desperate.

Their policies hurt the country, which is in terrible shape. Polls show a #redwave coming. This “NAZI fascist white supremacist” bullshit is ALL they have to run on. It’s for their low-info kool-aid drinking base.

Anyone with a brain knows better.

Trump spokesman Taylor Budowich slammed Hillary for her Nazi comparison.

“It seems like perpetual-failed-candidate Hillary Clinton’s basket of deplorables has run stale, not unlike herself,” he said in a statement to Fox News. “It’s pathetic, it’s divisive, and it is further cementing her legacy of cringe.”

Also, what the heck do we have here, Mrs. Clinton?

Just kidding – I’m not asinine enough to take images without context and suggest every time an arm goes up at a rally it immediately means that person is a member of the Nationalsozialistische Deutsche Arbeiterpartei.

Now, if you insist on playing that game, one only needs to look back a few weeks ago when President Biden was ranting and raving against so-called extremist Trump supporters while speaking from a set bathed in blood-red lighting, in front of a backdrop of Marines.

“Too much of what’s happening in our country today is not normal. Donald Trump and the MAGA Republicans represent an extremism that threatens the very foundations of our republic,” President Biden says. pic.twitter.com/J8De3JKJgr
