The Weeknd’s “Dawn FM” Gets New Remix by Oneohtrix Point Never: Listen

Oneohtrix Point Never, a prominent co-producer on the Weeknd’s Dawn FM, has remixed the album intro. Check out the track (and its funky cover art) below. Oneohtrix Point Neveer, aka Daniel Lopatin, was also credited as a composer and lyricist on the original, as well as playing keyboards and programming, all alongside the Weeknd himself.

In April, the Weeknd promoted Dawn FM track “Out of Time” with a flurry of promo: After pressing the single to vinyl on a functioning saw blade, he shared a music video featuring Jim Carrey and South Korean actor HoYeon Jung. He followed that up with a Kaytranada remix of the track. Dawn FM was recently long-listed for the Polaris Prize.
