Rescue: HI-Surf Exclusive Sneak Peek: It’s Time For A New Set Of Recruits To Hit The North Shore!

It’s time for a new set of rookie lifeguards to hit the North Shore!

It seems like only yesterday that we were introduced to Hina and Kainalu as they prepared to join the ranks of Hawaiian lifeguards. Em and Sonny are now ready to usher in a new group on Rescue: HI-Surf Season 1 Episode 13.

TV Fanatic got an exclusive clip of the first meeting between the Captain, Lieutenant, and the newbies, and they have no idea what they’re in for.

(FOX/Screenshot)

It’s not clear how long it’s been since Hina and Kainalu joined the ranks in Rescue: HI-Surf Season 1 Episode 1, but clearly, enough time has passed for them to no longer be the new kids on the block.

While those two had an easy transition onto the team, who knows what it will be like for this new group of rookies looking to make their mark.

One particular rookie seems enamored of Em, whose reputation on the island precedes her.

But it’s hard to imagine Em taking it easy on the rookies because she knows what it takes to do the job effectively, and it’s her and Sonny’s job to make sure they are ready for what lies ahead on such a dangerous beach.

(FOX/Screenshot)

It’ll be interesting to see how these new people shape up and whether or not we’ll get to see much of their journeys.

Rescue: HI-Surf has a pretty concentrated cast, but it wouldn’t be the worst thing in the world to see some fresh blood injected into the series.

Outside of this new development, the team will also deal with an underwater bomb, which is unlike anything we’ve seen on the show thus far.

We’re often reminded of the dangers of being a lifeguard in this series, with the high waves and strong currents, but the guards also have a lot of other things to contend with.

(FOX/Screenshot)

And some of these things you may have never expected, like a bomb on the ocean floor.

What kind of precautions are in place for something like that?

Where do the lifeguards come into play?

Throughout Rescue: HI-Surf Season 1, we’ve seen the action portion of the series thrive, and this will likely be no exception.

(FOX/Screenshot)

Brand new recruits, bombs in the ocean, an influencer using the beach to create content, and WILL IS BACK! That’s a whole lot of action in one short hour.

It’s looking to be a busy hour for the lifeguards of the North Shore, and while we wait to see what’s ahead, check out the exclusive sneak peek clip below!

Let us know in the comments what you think about the scene and what you hope to see from the hour.

Are you excited Will’s back?

(FOX/Screenshot)

What’s next for the neverending Will and Em saga?

Are you nervous for the team to deal with an underwater bomb?

We’ll be here right after the hour to break down the ins and outs of what’s sure to be another rollercoaster ride of the freshman hit series!

You can watch Rescue: HI-Surf on FOX at 9/8c on Mondays.
