Please Tell Me That These Days of Our Lives Spoilers For The Week of 7-06-26 Aren’t As Heartbreaking As They Sound

Soap characters always have it rough, and Days of Our Lives isn’t holding back, especially when it comes to Chanel.

Days of Our Lives spoilers for the week of 7-06-26 promise all sorts of heartbreaks and betrayals, but the Chanel spoilers scare me.

The fact that she has an emotional setback and needs Johnny and Paulina to comfort her makes me think she might lose the baby so close to her due date, and that is one storyline I don’t want to deal with.

Days of Our Lives spoilers for the week of 7-06-26 say that Chanel and Theo will bond over feelings of betrayal, and later Johnny and Paulina will comfort Chanel.

That second spoiler is the one that makes me nervous. It makes sense that Chanel would feel betrayed if she finds out Johnny was doing something related to cleaning up EJ’s mess and lied to her about it.

But if that were the case, Johnny wouldn’t be one of the people comforting Chanel.

That later spoiler only makes sense if something huge happened, and the only two such things I can think of are a setback with the cancer or something happening to the baby.

I hope I’m wrong. I’m not in the mood for either of those ideas.

Chanel’s cancer advancing would be incredibly depressing, especially if she becomes terminal at such a young age.

I was a kid when Isabella died of pancreatic cancer on-screen, and I’ve never forgotten it because it was so painful. As an adult, I had to temporarily stop watching Neighbours when Sonya died of ovarian cancer because I could not deal with this a second time.

If Chanel succumbs to her disease, it will be as bad as Isabella’s death. She is a young woman who should have a whole life ahead of her and is supposed to be giving birth soon after one miscarriage and a dramatic fight to adopt Trey.

If she loses that second baby, it’ll also be incredibly painful. I lived through this with Nicole and that was sad enough — let’s not have a repeat with Chanel, please.

Days of Our Lives Spoilers For The Week of 7-06-26 Promise A Tale of Two Betrayals

I know what Theo’s betrayal is likely to be about, based on the spoiler video.

One clip has Kristen telling Theo that his beloved Nonno caused Lexie’s brain tumor and original death — something that will hit Theo harder if he learns that the resurrection drug is failing and Lexie is hiding the fact that she is dying again.

I have no idea what possesses Kristen to inform Theo of this fact. Her entire life is built around getting revenge on EJ, but her words hurt Theo more than they do his uncle.

Sure, it makes it look like Lexie never should have died in the first place, but Theo will likely see EJ as the hero who righted that wrong by bringing his mother back from the grave — how does that help Kristen’s cause?

I’m more interested in what betrayal Chanel is talking about.

The Johnny and Joy almost-affair was a long time ago, and there’s no reason to dredge it up now, and the only people who Chanel has ever felt betrayed by are Paulina and Johnny — both of the people who comfort her later.

I suppose Sophia betrayed her by becoming a would-be murderess who tried to kill Johnny, but there’s no point in ranting about that a month or more after the fact.

There is one other possibility: Chanel could learn that Lani told Kristen about the aquarium outing, which is what made the attack on Johnny possible.

I guess that Chanel could feel that Lani betrayed her, but Lani wasn’t actively helping Kristen attack Johnny, so that would seem a bit misplaced.

I am looking forward to Chanel/Theo time, though, although the rest of these Chanel spoilers seem like a convoluted mess that threatens unnecessary heartbreak.

They are a great brother/sister duo, and I enjoy them together, so the more of that we see, the better!

Meanwhile, Maybe Johnny DIDN’T Do EJ’s Dirty Work…

Days of Our Lives spoilers for the week of 7-06-26 say that Sarah will receive a mysterious clue about Holly’s poisoning: an article about arsenic poisoning left on her desk.

I’ve been gearing up to rant about Johnny’s behavior after he sneaked into Sarah’s office, but maybe I’ve read it all wrong.

It didn’t make sense that Johnny would help EJ cover up that he dumped tainted drugs in the Horton Cabin’s well… not that anything in this story makes any sense whatsoever.

Johnny is usually far more moral than his father and stands up to him a lot, so it seemed out of character for him to cave.

But could Days of Our Lives have done a Matlock-like twist and made it that Johnny was actually trying to alert Sarah as to the correct diagnosis while making it look like he was helping his father out?

Either way, I don’t know why Sarah accuses Holly of using drugs again, since there is currently zero evidence other than the fact that tainted drugs were in her system. So I’m guessing the water sample is somehow tampered with so it comes back clean.

Meanwhile, Alex and Stephanie continue to struggle because of the existence of Joy and her baby, Paulina loses her cool with Abe, and Lexie lashes out at EJ for bringing her back to life without any guarantee that she could stay alive for more than a few weeks.
