Allow us to reintroduce the Super Bowl 61 halftime headliner: Jay-Z.
The rapper will take the stage at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California, as the main act during the big game’s Apple Music Super Bowl Halftime Show, Apple Music confirmed on Monday.
The event will take place on Sunday, February 14, 2027, and will be simulcast on ABC and ESPN.
Jay-Z’s Roc Nation produces the annual halftime concert, a multiyear partnership that started in 2019 and that was re-upped in 2024.
No word yet on who might join Jay-Z on stage. In addition to being married to Beyoncé, Jay-Z oversees Roc Nation’s artist roster, which includes Megan Thee Stallion, John Legend, Rihanna, Alicia Keys, and Christina Aguilera. He also has collaborated with acts as varied as Mariah Carey, Justin Timberlake, Lil’ Wayne, and Linkin Park.
Highlights of Jay-Z’s distinguished musical career
