Aerobic capacity typically falls about 5–10% per decade after early adulthood, but that decline is far from fixed: studies of lifelong endurance athletes have found losses roughly half those seen in sedentary adults, suggesting a substantial part of what we call age-related decline is actually the consequence of doing less as we get older.

Israel’s Iran Surprise By Howard Bloom

Iran and Israel are arranging their pieces on the chessboard before Israel retaliates against Iran’s October 1st attack.

In that attack, you remember, Iran assaulted Israel with the biggest number of ballistic missiles in history—200 by Iran’s count, 180 by the Western media’s.

On Wednesday, October 9, Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu had his first conversation with American president Joe Biden in two months.  Netanyahu’s goal was to make sure that America was on Israel’s side before Israel hits Iran back.

Meanwhile, Iranian foreign minister Abbas Araghchi and Iran’s president Masoud Pezeshkian have been jetting from one Arab capital to another in an attempt to get the Arab states of the Middle East lined up on Iran’s side.

First, the day after Iran’s barrage of 200 ballistic missiles, Iran’s president visited Qatar.  Then Iran’s foreign minister traveled to Lebanon and Syria.  And today Iran’s foreign minister announced his third pow-wow with Saudi Arabia in less than a month.

An Iranian foreign ministry spokesperson posted on X that, “Iran is determined to keep consolidating its relations with its neighbors in pursuit of sustainable security and stability as well as economic cooperation that would benefit all nations of the region.”

This statement is false.

Iran has been using its proxies to wage a war against Israel that threatens to destabilize the entire Middle East.

  • One of Iran’s proxies, Hamas, deliberately broke a cease fire and started a war with Israel on October 7tha year ago.
  • The very next day, Lebanon’s Hezbollah, another Iranian proxy, jumped in and began to fire as many as 170 missiles a day at Israel.
  • Then Yemen’s Houthis started firing sophisticated long-range missiles at Israel.
  • At the same time, the Houthis made it clear that the Gaza war is not just against Israel.

They attacked international shipping in the Red Sea.

In the eyes of Iran’s proxy groups, Iran’s Mideast war is a war against the Great Satan, the United States.  The goal is first to  topple Israel, then to use that victory to knock over all the other dominoes of western civilization, Germany, France, England, Australia, Canada, and, most important, the United States.

Those dominoes will not just be knocked over with weapons.  As the Muslim Brotherhood said in 1987, its plan for America is to get us Americans to take apart what the Muslim Brotherhood called our “miserable” civilization by our own hands.

That take-down from within has been happening in pro-Palestinian protests on college campuses, pro-Palestinian protests in the streets of cities like New York and Los Angeles, and pro-Palestinian pressure being put on political candidates from Kamala Harris on down.

Where is that pressure coming from? The immigrants who we’ve been steadily letting in from the world’s 57 Muslim nations.  And their children.

Many of those immigrants are great American citizens.  But some are a fifth column, deliberately tearing apart the very social fabric of the United States.

For example, Muslims have infiltrated TV news outlets like CNN, MSNBC and the BBC, wire services like AP and Reuters, and mainstream media publications like the New York Times and the Washington Post.  The result is that CNN and MSNBC often sound like propaganda channels for Iran’s proxies, for Hamas and Hezbollah.  At least when it comes to reporting on the Middle East.

For example, Iran’s proxies have launched 26,000 missiles and drones against Israel since Hamas started this war on October 7th of last year.  But the mainstream media has not reported these attacks.

Instead, when Israel defends itself and strikes back, the mainstream media makes it appear that those bloody-minded Israeli’s are mounting their counter attacks for no reason whatsoever.  And as if Israel can stop the Gaza war simply by saying it’s over.

But Iran’s proxies have no intention of stopping their killing.  Hezbollah continues barraging Israel with as many as 170 missiles a day.

Meanwhile, Joe Biden is urging Israel to respond to Iran’s 200-ballistic-missile attack “proportionately.”

Iran’s population is ten times Israel’s.  So to respond proportionately, Israel would have to blitz Iran with two thousand ballistic missiles.

Instead, Israel appears to have something better in mind. Says Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant, Israel’s response will be “lethal, precise and especially surprising.”

Iran “won’t understand what happened to it, or how.”
