Bud Light has lost over $27 billion since teaming up with the transgender influencer Dylan Mulvaney on an ad campaign back in April. Now, Mulvaney is trying to move on by “booking speaking opportunities” at college campuses around the country.

Mulvaney Looking To Work On College Campuses
The New York Post reported that Mulvaney, 26, took to her Instagram Story on Wednesday to beg for work on college and university campuses.
“Booking speaking opportunities for the upcoming 23/24 school year and would love to come visit,” Mulvaney wrote, adding an email address “for serious inquiries” and closing with “love ya!”
On the official website for Creative Arts Agency’s (CAA), which represents Mulvaney, she is listed as a speaker who is experienced in discussing topics like “LGBTQIA+ advocacy, social media, women’s empowerment as well as diversity, equity and inclusion.”
Bud Light has lost billions since the infamous Mulvaney ad campaign, with the latest figures saying that sales dropped 23.6% in the one-week period that ended July 8 compared to the same period last year. This has been credited to the highly effective boycott of Bud Light launched by fed-up conservatives over the Mulvaney campaign.
“Bud Light’s missteps felt like a betrayal to both its liberal and conservative customers, and that trust is going to take months, if not years, to rebuild,” Daniel Korschun, an associate professor of marketing at Drexel University’s LeBow College of Business, recently told The New York Times.

Mulvaney Ditches Bud Light
Even Mulvaney has ditched Bud Light in the wake of this controversy.
“I was waiting for the brand to reach out to me, but they never did. I’ve been scared to leave my house,” Mulvaney said in a video posted to social media last month. “For a company to hire a trans person and then not publicly stand by them is worse than not hiring a trans person at all.”
“Because it gives customers permission to be as transphobic and as hateful as they want. There’s should be nothing controversial or divisive about working with us,” the transgender influencer continued. “I have been ridiculed in public I’ve been followed and I have felt a loneliness that I wouldn’t wish on anyone.”

Mulvaney Flees America
Earlier this month, Mulvaney fled the country due to the Bud Light backlash, claiming that she felt safer outside of the United States.
“Okay, surprise,” Mulvaney, 26, said in a new TikTok video. “I’m in Peru! I’m at Machu Picchu. Isn’t this so beautiful?”
“I’ve seen a lot of llamas,” she added. “The people here are so kind. I feel very safe here. It’s a little sad that I had to leave my country to feel safe, but that will get better eventually.”
Mulvaney went on to explain that she travelled to Machu Picchu, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, for a journey that is both personal and spiritual.
“I came here to feel something. And I definitely have,” Mulvaney stated. “I have done shaman ceremonies that were like 10 years worth of therapy, it was wild.”

Mulvaney is quite frankly one of the last people who should be speaking to college kids on their campuses. We can only hope that Mulvaney is not able to book any of these college speaking engagements, but given how woke American universities are these days, we sadly wouldn’t be surprised if this ends up being a huge success for her.
