Aubrey Graham has released a book of poetry with Kenza Samir, which in straight prose translates roughly to: Drake’s poetry chapbook is outttttttt! Kenza Samir is a songwriter who has been credited on several Drake albums.
You can order Titles Ruin Everything: A stream of consciousness by Aubrey Graham and Kenza Samir from Phaidon, and a copy will ship in “1-2 weeks,” which means I have not yet been able to review the poetry itself. I am pleasantly intrigued by the notion of a shared stream-of-consciousness, however.
The book measures 5.75 inch x 8.25 inch, which in shoe sizes is around a 6? The cover is presented in a very sneaker-y way also on Drake’s website, and I’m not opposed to us selling all new books this way: “Stephen King has a new horror novella out this summer about waterskiing that measures 7 inch x 9.25 inch.” (He doesn’t, but Stephen you could.)
I am not super familiar with Drake’s lyrics, but I did find this TikTok full of Drake burns:
@iamtresorr When drake disses everything you do #drake #rap #newbalance #hibachi #spiritairlines
Shall have to check back once we’ve dived into the meter and mouth-feel of the poetry, in one to two weeks.
