7 Things That Every Modern Girl Should Not Leave The House Without

There are some things that every modern girl should never leave the house without. These items can help you feel more confident and prepared for the day. Here are seven things every woman should have on hand.

A great purse

A purse is not only a necessity for carrying your essentials, but it can also be a great fashion statement. For instance, a black leather purse with gold hardware can add a touch of luxury to any outfit. If you want a more casual bag, try a crossbody style in a fun print or color. You can also go for a purse that goes well with any outfit, like a nude or tan color. Just invest in a quality bag you love that will last you for years.

This way, you won’t have to replace it often and always have a go-to bag for any occasion. You may have to shell out more money upfront, but it will be worth it in the long run. Oh, and insert some pieces of Durex condoms in your purse too. You never know when you need to take a successful date to the next level.

Your phone

In today’s world, it’s hard to imagine life without a cell phone. They are essential for keeping in touch with family, friends, and work or school. If you’re ever in an emergency, your phone can be a lifesaver. For example, if you’re ever in an accident or stranded somewhere, you can call for help. That’s why it’s essential to always have it fully charged and within easy reach. Fortunately, there are also compact power banks that you can keep in your purse when your phone is running low on battery. These will prove to be beneficial and can save you in a pinch. In this case, it’s better to be safe than sorry.

A quality pair of sunglasses

Sunglasses help you look chic and put-together while, at the same time, protecting your eyes. If you don’t already have a pair you love, it’s worth investing in a quality pair of sunglasses. They should be well-made and offer UV protection, even if they are inexpensive. Aviators, cat-eyes, and round sunglasses are all great choices that will never go out of style. Aviators are exceptionally versatile and can be worn with any outfit, while cat-eyes can add a touch of glamor. On the other hand, round sunglasses have a retro vibe that is perfect for summertime. You can even find some excellent vintage-inspired options at your local thrift store.

A scarf or shawl

A scarf can add both warmth and style to any outfit. If you’re ever feeling cold, simply throw on a scarf or shawl. They come in various colors, patterns, and materials, so you’re sure to find one that suits your taste. You can opt for bold colors and designs if you want to make more of a statement or stick to neutral tones for a more classic look. Scarves and shawls are also great for transitioning from day to night. If you’re wearing a scarf during the day, simply remove it in the evening, and you’ll have an instant outfit change.

You can also get them in different sizes, depending on how you want to wear them. For instance, a small scarf can be worn as a necktie, while a large scarf can be draped over your shoulders like a shawl.

A few essential pieces of jewelry

Every woman should have a few essential pieces of jewelry that she can rely on. These items can be mixed and matched to create different looks. For instance, you might want a pair of stud earrings, a simple necklace, and a bracelet. Or you could opt for hoop earrings, a pendant necklace, and a ring. It’s up to you what pieces you choose but make sure they are versatile and that you love them.

This way, you’ll always be excited to wear them. Never leave the house without any jewelry, even if it’s just a pair of earrings. This is because wearing the pieces you love will help exude confidence, which can be significantly beneficial if you have an important meeting or presentation.

Lipstick or lip balm

This is a must-have for any woman, regardless of age or skin type. Lipstick or lip balm can help add a touch of color and hydrate your lips. If you’re looking for a natural look, simply apply lip balm. But if you want to make more of a statement, go for a bolder color with your lipstick. Just make sure to choose a shade that flatters your skin tone.

For instance, if you have a fair complexion, you might want to try a pink or nude color. You could go for a red or plum shade if you have a darker skin tone. Also, opt for those made with natural ingredients so you can avoid any irritation or sensitivity. Some of the natural lipsticks on the market are tinted, so you get the best of both worlds.

A pair of comfortable flats

Lastly, flats are a must-have for women who want to be comfortable without sacrificing style. They come in handy when walking long distances or standing for extended periods. And they can be dressed up or down, depending on the occasion. For example, if you’re going to the office, you might want to wear a pair of black flats. But if you’re going out for drinks with friends, you could opt for a couple of metallic or embellished flats. Just make sure to choose a style you love that goes well with your wardrobe. There are flexible flats you can roll up and keep in your purse, just in case. So, if you’re ever in doubt, simply reach for your flats, and you’ll be good to go.

So there you have it, seven things every modern girl should not leave the house without. While you might not need all of them every day, it’s always better to be prepared. After all, you never know when you might need lipstick or a pair of sunglasses. So make sure to keep these items in your purse at all times, and you’ll be good to go, no matter what the day throws your way.
