Tame Impala have shared their remix of Elvis Presley’s song “Edge of Reality.” The new song features vocals from Kevin Parker and is featured on the soundtrack for Baz Luhrmann’s new biopic about the King. Check it out below.
Elvis hits theaters today (June 24), and the soundtrack is also out now. Elvis (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack) includes contributions from Kacey Musgraves (“Can’t Help Falling in Love”), Doja Cat (“Vegas”), Eminem and CeeLo Green (“The King and I”), and more.
Tame Impala released their most recent studio album, The Slow Rush, in 2020 and followed it up with a deluxe edition the next year. Since then, they’ve shared the new song “The Boat I Row,” collaborated with Diana Ross on “Turn Up the Sunshine,” and covered the Strokes at Primavera Sound. Later this fall, Tame Impala will celebrate the 10th anniversary of 2012’s Lonerism at Desert Daze by performing the album in full.
