King Moore Addresses Gun Violence While Being The Youngest Rapper In HipHop History To Be Invited To The White House

With gun violence at an all-time high, the Biden Administration has set its sights on gun initiatives and campaigns to bring gun related crimes down. Especially involving our school systems.

8 year old rap sensation King Moore answered the call after hearing President Biden’s speech on gun violence and hit the recording studio to cut his new single “Safe At School”. With his current single ABC still climbing views at a rapid pace to the tune of almost three million views in less than 45 days, King was insistent on recording a song that he felt would make a difference.

King’s manager Tony Mercedes, known for Grammy winning songs Shape Of You by Ed Sheeran, and No Scrubs by TLC, quickly sent the track to a political contact named Asha Castleberry, the founder of Celebrities Against Gun Violence and within days King was invited to the White House to represent the view points of the Gen Alpha. When asked about how it felt to be invited to participate in the White House gun violence committee discussion King responded, “ “although my generation only makes up fifty percent of the population, we also make up one hundred percent of the future, and it’s hard to concentrate on school stuff when you’re worried about someone bringing a gun to school. At the end of the day, I just wanted to feel safe at school.”

Some of the initiative’s goals include supporting bipartisan legislation addressing universal background checks, additional safety measures for parents who are gun owners, and mental health programs that provide assistance to gun violence survivors who suffer from trauma.

As a kid from the Alpha Generation, knowing what gun safety is will help keep us safe. By knowing what to do if you see a gun and talking about safety with our parents, family members, and friends, we can help prevent gun violence in school. Staying safe is everyone’s responsibility. Together we can make our neighborhoods, schools, and parks safer for everyone. My name is King Moore and I approve this Message!
