In our fractured world it is authors like Kim Greer who make us stop and listen. Her book “Masked Intent” is a modern-day morality play, and the first of a trilogy. The manuscript examines how we hide behind inauthenticity to guide us through interpersonal relationships.
A trained journalist, Kimberly Greer is a powerful writer. Her story follows Alexa Winston who has been denied by her birth parents, has married the wrong man, and has learned to live with disappointment by masking her true self from the world. The character is a master at detecting self-deception in others, but is slow to recognize it in herself.
Kim is a wife, mother, daughter and storyteller. She received her BA in English language and literature from the University of Virginia and her MS in journalism from Columbia University. Temporarily leaving journalism behind, Kim worked for several global corporations helping them to tell their stories and brand their services. She launched a boutique marketing consultancy serving clients mostly in professional services. She also became an adjunct professor at Georgetown University where she taught PR and communication courses.
In the words of Carl Sagan “ imagination will often carry us to worlds that never were, but without it we go nowhere.” ….Kim Greer has the imagination, the creativity and the empowerment to continue her series. The heavens cannot always protect us. Not every tempest passes in an instant and that every deluge can be brushed off. We can either wait for blue skies to be restored or we can take the plunge in defy the elements and seize the day. Kim has undoubtedly seize the day.
