The iconic TV show well known in the 80s (first aired 1955) Wonderama brought new GenZ talent to the lineup filming 26 episodes in Times Square with 80 performances. Wonderama took over Times Square from July 25-29, 2022 to HUGE success. Led by show host and the one and only nephew of Donny and Marie Osmond, David Osmond, The show infiltrated Times Square with top talent such as Laundry Day and Broadway’s Genie in Aladdin Michael James Scott, social media superstars McKenzi Brooke (15M) and Reif Harrison (2M), Brooklyn Queen (5.5M), Baby Kaely (2M), JAGMAC (1M), America’s self-made millionaire teen designer Isabella Barrett, and rising superstar Kylie Marshall.
Leading the festivities was the eloquent and prestigious ribbon cutting ceremony which took place on opening day and featured VIPs including Dr. Bernice King (daughter of Martin Luther King), Census Bureau Director Rob Santos, Snoop Dog’s personal chef QBone, Times Square Alliance, National Grange, entrepreneur and philanthropist John “SohoJohnny” Pasquale, world-renowned composer and film scorer Randy Edelman, Ernie Anastas, esteemed newscaster, along with hosts David Osmond, Coco and Breezy, and a parade of other dignitaries. The ceremony marked the launching of the Kid’s Career Connection Experience and the partnership of Wonderama U and the US Census Bureau accentuating the fact that possibilities are endless for our kids. Wonderama’s theme centers upon the fact that kids should never lose their sense of wonder.
