Days of Our Lives Spoilers For The Week of 10-06-25 Suggest Sophia’s Lies Continue To Unravel, But This Story Isn’t Ending Quickly Enough

It’s hard to be patient with this Sophia baby story.

Sophia is quickly spiraling out of control, making Jan Spears appear reasonable, and nobody seems to have caught on yet.

Days of Our Lives spoilers for the week of 10-06-25 suggest her world is closer than ever to crumbling, but we’re not there yet.

(Peacock/Screenshot)

Could Javi and Leo Be The Key To Ending This?

DNA test results suggest the baby isn’t Tate’s, but whether that’s accurate or someone messed with them remains to be seen.

In Salem, DNA tests are rarely accurate, even those that were ordered by mail.

I’m not even sure why Kayla is overseeing the test when the whole reason Steve used the mail-order service was that she felt it would be unethical for her to have anything to do with it.

Regardless, Days of Our Lives spoilers for the week of 10-06-25 say that Leo and Javi are worried about baby Tesoro.

On soap operas, that’s usually code for a baby with a medical issue that requires a blood test, often leading to the truth coming out.

Of course, that wouldn’t make much sense since Kayla supposedly already tested Tesoro’s DNA, but logic has never been this soap’s strong suit.

There is another possibility, though.

(Peacock/Screenshot)

With all the drama surrounding the adoption, Leo and Javi might be concerned about whether Tesoro is going to a good home.

The “news” that Johnny slept with Holly while teaching her might travel fast, especially if Sophia has a hand in spreading that rumor.

Our shared passion for TV should spread as fast as ridiculous rumors.
Until that day comes, we have the next best thing: our newsletter. Hit the subscribe button in the top right to get our hottest stories delivered straight to your inbox.

Leo should recognize that nonsense for what it is — he did something similar to Sonny once.

However, if he and Javi believe the rumors for a second, they might think that they have to stop Tesoro from going to a substandard home and rethink their decision not to try to adopt.

They should do that anyway, whether it’s Tesoro or another baby, because their reasons for Javi being disqualified make no sense.

I’d Love For Leo To Get Involved In Finding Out The Truth.

But first, the guys should go to a different adoption attorney instead of taking Trask’s word for it that Javi can never adopt because of his daughter’s death.

He wasn’t responsible for what happened and was never charged in connection with it, and he shouldn’t be doomed to never be a father again because of his personal tragedy.

If Leo finds out Javi got this opinion from Trask, he might put two and two together.

She made him keep her secret during the last baby switch fiasco, so Leo should be extremely suspicious.

And if he finds out she’s constantly talking with Sophia, that would be all he needed to figure out what’s really going on here.

As much as Leo can be annoying, that would be a great use for his character — far better than investigating what EJ is up to so he can rescue Gwen from a locked room.

Sarah Might Figure Out The Truth

After Brady confides in Sarah that the DNA test rules out the possibility that the firehouse baby is Tate and Sophia’s, Sarah gets an idea.

She confronts Sophia and warns her that the truth always comes out sooner or later — something Sarah is all too familiar with.

Are you a life-long Days of Our Lives fan too? Say hi in the comments.
I’ve loved this soap since I was a kid, and I love talking about it. Additionally, the more you comment and share this article, the more likely I am to create more DAYS content that we both love. So don’t be shy!

The more interesting spoiler is that Sarah confides in Kayla.

This could be a red herring. Sarah might be talking to Kayla about her feelings for Xander, which is another one of her favorite topics.

(© Howard Wise/jpistudios.com)

Still, Sarah knows that the baby was a boy, not a girl, and that Sophia did drop him off at the firehouse.

So, if she tells Kayla that, while Kayla already knows the DNA test rules Tate out as the father, Kayla is going to become curious.

    by Alexandria Ingham
  • 9-1-1 Going to Space Proves the Show Has Jumped the Shark
    by Paul Dailly

There are only two possibilities. One is that Tate really isn’t the father, which would make this baby subterfuge story completely pointless.

The other is that someone — probably Melinda — messed up the DNA test on purpose, per usual, and Kayla will discover it once she starts digging.

Meanwhile, Something Odd Is Going On With The College Kids

Holly is supposedly going on a trip after sulking about Tate and Sophia, but spoilers also say that she swears Ari to secrecy about something and that Ari later fills Tate in on the latest.

Plus, Sophia again pulls the wool over Tate’s eyes, probably about the Holly/Johnny plot she concocted.

(Peacock/Screenshot)

I wonder if Holly and Ari are planning something to prove that Sophia drugged Holly and took those photos.

Johnny, Chanel, and Brady are supposed to discuss what happened, so they’ll be closing in too.

If this plot is found out, Sophia won’t just be embarrassed — she’ll be arrested.

Even in Salem, drugging people against their will and taking suggestive photos is a crime, even if the show is unlikely to call it what it is.

With any luck, Sophia will go to jail — and after that, there’s no telling what will happen with baby Tesoro or anything else.

There Are Also Several Other Exciting Stories Coming Up

I’m especially thrilled that Days of Our Lives will celebrate 40 years of Jack and Jennifer!

Jennifer’s attitude toward Chad’s love life is annoying, but she and Jack are still one of my favorite couples, and I love these retrospective episodes.

  • Tyler Hynes’s Hallmark Christmas Movies — Ranked!
    by Carissa Pavlica
  • Class in Session: 7 Things Abbott Elementary Season 5 Needs to Make the Grade
    by Sam Huang
  • Characters of the Week: Fierce Women & Charismatic Men — High Potential, Doc, and Gen V Deliver!
    by TV Fanatic Staff

Unfortunately, there will be a lot of drama surrounding Cat/Chad after Thomas blurts out in front of everybody that Chad and Cat are dating.

Nobody will say anything to Rachel about all the trouble she caused by spreading adults’ business, I’m sure, because they’ll be too busy yelling at Chad that he shouldn’t be with Cat and pointing to Thomas’ distress as proof.

I don’t even like this couple, but they’re not worth all this angst! Chad is a grown man; let him make his own mistakes.

While Jack and Jennifer are here, I hope they take some time to support their son. JJ has taken Theo’s words to heart and is considering quitting the force again.

JJ accuses Gabi of murder on Days of Our Lives during the week of 4-14-25
(Peacock/Screenshot)

While I’m thrilled JJ has a story, I wish it weren’t this one.

It’s important for media to address police violence against Black people, especially right now, but rehashing a story from 2017 and backtracking on Theo and JJ being best friends and business partners after the incident isn’t it.

It feels like a story for the sake of making social commentary rather than something authentic, which doesn’t work.

What Do You Think, Days of Our Lives Fanatics?

Your voice matters. Without it, we’d be talking to ourselves and would probably close up shop.
So let’s hear your thoughts. Whether you think this week sounds fantastic or boring, let loose in the comments.
