YouTuber Builds the World’s First PlayStation 5 Slim, Complete with Water Cooling
YouTuber and inventor Matthew Perks is back at it again with possibly his most ambitious project yet, unofficially the world’s first PlayStation 5 Slim. To achieve this, just about everything had to be stripped from the original console except for the motherboard.

This also means a full-cover water block for the motherboard, flash storage, voltage regulator module (VRM), while custom heatsinks were fabricated for the other components, such as the GDDR6 chips. What about t he power supply? It’s housed in a long, external aluminum case, along with the water cooling components. As an added touch, he created a sleek copper case for the console. Yes, he’s also the same person behind this brass PS5. The official PlayStation 5 Slim may be coming sooner than later, possibly as soon as next fall.
