Shen Jin, Motorola’s general manager, made a mysterious post on Weibo yesterday, alluding to a smartphone unveiling of sorts. It’s allegedly the upcoming Motorola Frontier smartphone with a 200-megapixel sensor, along with a 50-megapixel ultra-wide, and a 12-megapixel telephoto out back, while there’s a 60-megapixel selfie camera in the front.
The handset is also rumored to feature a 6.67-inch pOLED hole-punch display with a 144Hz refresh rate, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor, 8GB/12GB of RAM, 128GB/256GB of internal storage, and a 4,500mAh battery that supports 125W wired fast charging as well as 30W or 50W wireless fast charging. How much will it cost? We’ll have to wait until its official unveiling in July draws near. We’re still waiting for LG’s double-folding smartphone from a few years ago.
