The long awaited Microsoft Flight Simulator Top Gun Maverick expansion is now available ahead of the movie’s theatrical release this tomorrow. Players will be able to develop their skills and then use them to navigate the complexities encountered by actual Top Gun pilots in authentic locations including the most challenging landing, or more specifically, on an aircraft carrier.
This expansion includes a special “Top Gun: Maverick Edition” livery for the F/A-18E Super Hornet, along with three training missions that let you to master radical flight maneuvers including unrestricted take-offs, split S maneuvers, as well as low altitude, high-speed maneuvering through complex terrain. Plus, there are five high-speed, low-level challenges that require extreme skill to navigate right above mountains. For those with the technical know how, you can build yourself a full motion flight simulator at home.
