Donald Trump has responded to the campaign farewell address delivered by President Joe Biden from the Oval Office on Wednesday.
The GOP nominee’s comments show a man well past the stage in which Biden’s decline registers as sympathetic. We’ve seen him struggle to speak for years now.
His goodbye speech was more of the same.
“Crooked Joe Biden’s Oval Office speech was barely understandable, and so bad!” Trump wrote on his Truth Social media platform.
Ironic, isn’t it, that the man Biden tried to get out of the race through every means possible, was able to sit back and comment on him dropping out instead.
Biden’s Farewell Address
Biden’s farewell address provided many of the same moments that led people to realize that while his body was saying goodbye, the President’s mind left him a while ago.
The slurred speech was there. The glassy, non-blinking eyes.
And the falsehoods. Of course, they were there. Biden’s speechwriters have perfected those for several years now. Biden’s address amounted to little more than a campaign speech for Harris from the Oval Office.
Many viewers were left with the same look on their faces as Trump after the trainwreck of a speech.

In another post on Truth Social, Trump described Biden and Harris as “a great embarrassment to America.”

Not Everyone Was Amused
It’s safe to say that not everyone was in a mocking mood following the Biden address, with many media pundits referring to his dropping out of the race as a “sad” moment in time.
Was it sad because he dropped out, or sad because he had to drop out after the media ruse that he was sharp as a tack had imploded?
In what is becoming a nightly occurrence, CNN pundit Van Jones naturally had to fight back tears.
“The kid with the stutter did good,” Jones said through wet eyes. “Most heroes fight to the bitter end. He fell on his sword.”
Yes, Caesar too ‘fell on his sword’, 23 times, when he decided to ‘relinquish’ power as well.
Biden was forced out, quite obviously, due to his physical and cognitive decline. And yet Ameria will have him at the helm as Commander-in-Chief for the next six months.
Trump spoke to Fox & Friends Thursday morning about Biden’s address, arguing that the President had been the victim of a “coup”.
“I think it was a coup. They didn’t want him running,” Trump said. “He was way down in the polls, and they thought he was going to lose,” Trump said. “They went to him and they said, you can’t win the race, which I think is true.”
The GOP nominee took a jab at the media as well for fawning over Biden’s address.
“It was like a terrible speech and terrible delivery,” Trump understated. “He looked like he was having problems, and yet you watch the other networks and you would think he was Ronald Reagan in his prime, Winston Churchill in his prime, and he wasn’t.”
“It was not good… It was not a good speech.”
