What a blast from the past! Remember back in 2021 when people noticed that Joe Biden was using a fake Oval Office set to create video messages for the American people?
Like it was something out of The Truman Show?
While speculation ran wild, the White House was eventually forced to admit that they did have a fake Oval Office, and it was used because they could put a permanent teleprompter in there for Sleepy Joe.
As it turns out, the Biden administration didn’t bother tearing it down when they left, and top Trump advisor Alina Habba took a tour to show the American people what was in there.

If you feel like many of the things that happened between 2020 and 2024 were a bit surreal, that’s because they definitely were.
Look no further than a fake Oval Office. Just think about how this must have come together. According to Biden’s team, the set was created just because it was easy to put a teleprompter in there?
They couldn’t just wheel in a teleprompter to the real Oval Office when needed? Why not? That sounds absurd on its face.
And yet, dear reader, I don’t have a good alternative theory. But back to Mrs. Habba’s tour…
Habba said she ended up in the room after doing a TV spot. “We’re in Biden’s fake Oval Office everybody, and I’ve actually figured this out, I now know why. I now get it. Turn the camera around,” she says, pointing to the cameraman to do a 180 away from the fake desk.
“There is a screen, teleprompter to the face. All I can say is, the last administration was a disgrace!”

What’s even more interesting is what’s behind the teleprompter. They went through all the trouble to recreate the decorations on the wall opposite the desk, which no viewer would see. Why?
Considering the fake Oval, it might be smart for Trump’s team to scour the rest of the grounds of the White House and Old Executive Office Building and see what other strange surprises may be lurking.
