Haart Breastfed Her Own Brother
Fox News reported that Haart, 52, revealed on the “Not Skinny But Not Fat” podcast that she breastfed her brother while also breastfeeding her oldest daughter. Her brother is reportedly a few months younger than her oldest daughter, who is now 30 years-old.
“You wanna hear a real mindf–k? I nursed my brother,” Haart said. “My mother was like, ‘Oh you’re already nursing your daughter. Take him, too. So, I ended up nursing my brother and my daughter. That’s a mindf–k.”
“I don’t think he remembers,” she added before comparing her life in the Orthodox Jewish community to living in the 1800s.
“Go back a couple hundred years, everyone had a wet nurse, right? You didn’t nurse your own baby if you had money,” she said. “That’s the community I lived in. I lived in the 1800s. I always tell people I’m a time traveler. If you want to understand the world I lived in, go back to the 1800s, that’s it. I lived an 18th-century existence.”

Haart Flees Orthodox Judaism
Haart was 42 years-old when she left the Haredi community in New York back in 2013.
“I’ve been questioning [Orthodox Judaism] my entire life – silently, inside. But they had convinced me that I was somehow inherently flawed for not being okay with the system,” she admitted.
Haart shares four children with a man who she was arranged to marry at the age of 19. It was only when her youngest daughter began to question the “system” of Orthodox Judaism that Haart decided to leave.

“When she started questioning things, no one could convince me that she was somehow flawed. Because she was five,” she recalled. “You know, and they had convinced me that something was wrong with me for questioning, but when she started questioning it – that’s when I realized it’s not me, it’s the system. The system is not okay.”
Haart is currently in the process of divorcing her second husband Silvio Scaglia, who she married back in 2020, according to Page Six. Though her first marriage was an arranged one, Haart said in her latest interview that her first husband is a “lovely” man.
“The guy I was forced to marry is a much nicer one person than the man I chose,” Haart said with a laugh. “Go figure that one out.”

Haart’s Divorce
Daily Mail reported that after Haart filed for divorce in December of last year, she accused Silvio of threatening to kill her, a claim that he has vehemently denied.
“He has routinely berated me, calling me ‘a venomous snake,’ a ‘monster’ and a ‘liar,’ in the presence of third parties and at times, my children. One of [his] favorite epithets is to tell me to ‘go f–k yourself,’” Haart said in her filing, according to US Weekly. “In January 2022, I confronted [Silvio] about his abusive behavior and told him that if anyone ever heard how he acts and speaks to me, they would think he is a horrible person.”
“In response, [he] threatened me, stating: ‘If you ever go to the press about how I treat you or the kids, I will kill you,’” she added.
