A handful of pro-abortion protesters made their way to Nancy Pelosi’s house Tuesday, saying Democrats were “complicit” in the potential Supreme Court ruling to overturn Roe v. Wade.
The small crowd stood outside the House Speaker’s home holding signs stating that the conservative Supreme Court Justices are ‘liars’ and a banner reading “abortion on demand and without apology!”
And they came armed with their own string of lies and ridiculous assertions.
“We’re here because Nancy Pelosi and the whole leadership of the Democrat Party has been complicit with the fascist Republican Party,” one protester shouted through a bull horn.
She added fascists not only “want to eliminate abortion rights” but “gay marriage, trans rights, and a whole slew of rights.”
No! I draw a line in the sand when it comes to a ‘slew of rights.’

Protesters Target Nancy Pelosi’s House
Well, well, well. How the turn tables.
Nancy Pelosi’s house being targeted after issuing statements praising anti-abortion groups for their “righteous anger” is an interesting twist.
“While we have seen and heard extraordinary anguish in our communities, we have been moved by how so many have channeled their righteous anger into meaningful action: planning to march and mobilize to make their voices heard,” she said in a statement after homes of justices and Catholic churches had been targeted.

Some would say she’s inciting an insurrection.

Of course, this amounted to a handful of people in broad daylight as opposed to the mob that descended on Brett Kavanaugh’s home.

The banner in the video captured outside Pelosi’s home appears to be from a group called Rise Up 4 Abortion Rights.
That pro-abortion group last week advocated for protests outside of churches on Mother’s Day.
One protester mocked the idea that “abortion is a tragedy” (“as if”) and declared the option to terminate a viable life is a basic human right afforded to all.
“We are here to say abortion is a basic right, a basic human right, and without this right, women are basically enslaved,” she said. “And we will not stand for it.”
Enslaved. Hmm… if only there were some other way to avoid an unwanted pregnancy. Perhaps a basic biology class is in order for this group.

Another protester demonstrated that rather than marching to people’s homes in the middle of the day he should march to a local college and learn how government works.
He said Pelosi should have tackled the abortion issue while Obama had a supermajority in Congress and suggested she can’t blame Republicans when Democrats currently “control all three branches of government.”
Except, as even most middle schoolers know, one of the branches of government is the judicial branch.

Pro-Life Group Blames Pelosi For Violence
Over this past weekend, the headquarters of a pro-life group called Wisconsin Family Action was set on fire and vandalized with a message that read: “If abortions aren’t safe then you aren’t either.”
Julaine Appling, president of Wisconsin Family Action, called out Nancy Pelosi for her provocative remarks.
“It seems to me that Nancy Pelosi is partly responsible for inciting the kind of violence that we were the recipients of early on Mother’s Day morning,” she accused.
“That kind of rhetoric heats things up. It doesn’t cool it down,” added Appling. “And our leaders need to be held responsible and held accountable for the kind of message they send.”
Appling points out that if these thugs are willing to commit arson over a draft opinion, the violence is bound to escalate once the actual ruling is released.
Pelosi has urged Democrats to circumvent the potential Supreme Court ruling, pointing out that Democrats in the House had already voted to codify Roe v. Wade into law.
“The radical, right-wing Supreme Court plan to uphold draconian abortion bans and overturn #RoeVWade strikes at the heart of our freedom, health and safety,” she tweeted.
“House Democrats have already voted to codify Roe and will continue to defend its protections against Republican sabotage.”

Protests are likely to continue for quite some time, as the White House has explicitly encouraged the harassment to continue.
White House press secretary Jen Psaki remarked on the “protests that have been peaceful to date.”
“And we certainly continue to encourage that outside of judges’ homes and that’s the president’s position,” she added.
