The former Fox News host Megyn Kelly is speaking out to blast the pop singer Britney Spears for her hit memoir “The Woman In Me,” which she describes as a “manual on how not to raise your children.”
Megyn Kelly has said that she hopes young girls and young parents read Britney Spears’ memoir, The Woman in Me, to get a sense of “what not to do when raising children of their own.”

Kelly Rips Spears’ Memoir
“The Woman In Me” has been a historic hit ever since it hit stores last Tuesday, but Kelly isn’t having any of it.
“Is it any wonder she wound up as screwed up as she is?” Kelly, 52, asked on her eponymous SiriusXM talk show, referring to Spears, 41.
“I think there are actually a lot of life lessons in this thing, a lot of life lessons for people thinking about putting their child anywhere near the entertainment industry,” Kelly continued. “Frankly, it’s a manual on how not to raise your children.”
Kelly went on to say that she was horrified and disturbed by some of the details that Spears revealed in her book.
“She reveals she lost her virginity when she was 14 years old,” a visibly shocked Kelly said. “She was drinking with her mother starting in the eighth grade. She was having daiquiris with her mother. Her little sister was drinking too, apparently even at a younger age, White Russians, which they all thought tasted like ice cream.”
“Is it any wonder she wound up as screwed up as she is?” the media personality questioned. “She was taking Adderall like it was candy to get high.”

Kelly Discusses Spears’ Conservatorship And Abortion
Kelly then shifted to blasting the conservatorship that Spears was under for 13 years from 2008 until she was freed in November of 2021.

“Later on, she wound up taking lithium, a very serious drug, thanks to her conservatorship and so on,” Kelly said, slamming Spears’ father Jamie for the way he handled it.
“The love was not unconditional,” she lamented.
“If she’s capable of performing, surely she’s capable of being in charge of her own life?”
Dan Wootton and Megyn Kelly agree Britney Spears should be in control of her own money, as her ongoing conservatorship battle rages on.

Kelly also touched on Spears’ shocking revelation that she had an abortion at age 19 during her time dating Justin Timberlake of NSYNC fame.
“She had an abortion at age 19 when she was dating Justin Timberlake even though she didn’t want to,” Kelly said. “It’s a horror story. It’s a string of horror stories.”
Kelly ended her rant by revealing what she hopes young girls can learn from Spears’ memoir.
“I look at this and I say I hope young girls read it. And I hope young parents read it and they take away from this: I don’t want anything to do with that industry, I don’t want to be a star, I don’t need millions, I can find my self-worth someplace else,” Kelly concluded. “It’s really not that hard to raise good kids. It really isn’t. You just have to spend time with them.”
