Senator Elizabeth Warren targeted crisis pregnancy centers in her latest pro-abortion rant, demanding Congress take action and “shut them down.”
Crisis pregnancy centers are designed to help pregnant women take care of themselves and their babies and offer an alternative to abortion.
In her screed to reporters on Tuesday, Warren (D-MA) defined helping a woman see her pregnancy through as “torture” and lamented the fact that these centers outnumber abortion clinics.
“In Massachusetts right now, those crisis pregnancy centers that are there to fool people who are looking for pregnancy termination help outnumber true abortion clinics by 3 to 1,” she said.
“We need to shut them down here in Massachusetts, and we need to shut them down all around the country,” insisted Warren. “You should not be able to torture a pregnant person like that.”

Koch Institute senior fellow Casey Mattox suggested the Democrat’s comments were nothing short of evil.
“Not gonna sugar coat this. It’s evil,” Mattox tweeted. “If I knew nothing about Elizabeth Warren but the lies she tells about pregnancy centers I’d know enough.”

Washington Post columnist Megan McArdle stated that Warren’s idea to have Congress shut down the pregnancy centers was “unconstitutional.”
Warren’s comments come as crisis pregnancy centers have been consistent targets of vandalization and arson in response to the Supreme Court ruling overturning Roe v. Wade.

She’s Very Angry
Her latest comments on crisis pregnancy centers underscore that Senator Warren has been seemingly unwell since news of the Supreme Court overturning Roe v. Wade became public knowledge.
In May, when the decision had been leaked to the media, Warren delivered an angry speech to fellow protesters – her voice cracking repeatedly – vowing to fight back against what she called an “extremist” Supreme Court.
I am angry because an extremist Supreme Court thinks they can impose their extremist views on all of the women of this country and they are wrong.

That is not exactly a woman with her wits about her.
Following the protest, Warren was still visibly shaken, her body trembling with anger, when a pro-life protester countered her argument by saying, “We don’t want to dismember children in the womb.”
You know, like those working at crisis pregnancy centers don’t want to see that either?
“We’ve heard enough from the extremists! And we’re tired of it,” she screeched back.

Somebody needs to have an intervention with the good Senator.
Not long after that tirade, the headquarters of a pro-life group called Wisconsin Family Action was set on fire and vandalized with a message that read: “If abortions aren’t safe then you aren’t either.”
