Kacey Musgraves was the musical guest on last night’s episode of Saturday Night Live. The country star performed the title track from her upcoming album, Deeper Well, as well as the recently released song “Too Good to Be True.” For both of her SNL sets, Musgraves sang while backed by a full band. Watch the performances, as well as her episode promo with host Sydney Sweeney and cast member Heidi Gardner, below.
This was Musgraves’ third time appearing on SNL as the musical guest. She made her musical debut on the show back in 2018 in support of her Grammy-winning album Golden Hour, and then returned in 2021 to play “Justified” and “Camera Roll” from Star-Crossed.
Deeper Well is due out next week on March 15 via Interscope/MCA Nashville. The Texas-born singer reunited with her Golden Hour and Star-Crossed collaborators Daniel Tashian and Ian Fitchuk to record the album.
Once Deeper Well is out, Musgraves will embark on a big tour to perform material from the record live, with dates scheduled in Europe and North America. Opening select shows are Father John Misty, Lord Huron, and Nickel Creek.
