Shortly after taking an L in his beef with Kendrick Lamar, Drake popped up on a Toronto-themed cover of the Plain White T’s hit “Hey There Delilah” titled “Wah Gwan Delilah” by comedian Snowd4y. On Friday (August 2nd), he made a surprise appearance during his OVO signee PartyNextDoor’s concert in Toronto and performed the song for the first time. Watch it below.
Per Billboard Canada, PND vacated the stage for Drake during the latest stop of his “Sorry I’m Outside Tour” (get tickets here) for an hour-long set featuring only R&B songs. After opening with his 2015 remix of “Sweeterman” by Ramriddlz, Drake transitioned into the live debut of “Wah Gwan Delilah.”

He followed with performances of older cuts like “Practice” and “Connect” from Take Care and Nothing Was the Same, respectively, before moving on to more recent songs including “Redemption,” “Finesse,” and “Pipe Down” off Views, Scorpion, and Certified Lover Boy.
To close out the set, Drake brought PartyNextDoor back on stage to duet collabs like their 2016 hit “Come and See Me.” After calling PND “the King of R&B,” Drake revealed they are working on a collaborative album together.
“On behalf of me and Party, we’ve been working on something for y’all,” Drake said. “So, you get the summer over with, you do what you need to do. I know all you girls are outside. When it gets a little chilly, PartyNextDoor and Drake album will be waiting right there for you.” He added, “I’m here tonight as a thank you to each and every one of you for all your years of unwavering support.”
After getting blown out in a rap battle, Drake focusing on R&B is a smart move that would even draw Kendrick’s approval. “I like Drake with the melodies, I don’t like Drake when he act tough,” the latter rapped on “euphoria.”
PartyNextDoor’s tour continues through North America until mid-August. He’ll kick off the UK/Europe leg in October. See the full schedule below, and grab your seats here.
