Adele has shared a new video for “I Drink Wine,” the latest clip from her latest LP, 30. It’s directed by Joe Talbot. Check it out below.
“I Drink Wine” is Adele’s third 30 visual, having previously shared music videos for “Easy on Me” and “Oh My God.” On social media, Adele noted that the clip for “I Drink Wine” was actually the first she had shot in the album cycle.
30 became the best-selling album of 2021 just three days after its November release. In February 2022, she performed “I Drink Wine” at the BRIT Awards, where she won Album of the Year for 30 and Song of the Year for“Easy on Me.”
In July, Adele hosted a two-night stand at London’s Hyde Park, with support from Kacey Musgraves and Nilüfer Yanya. In August, just weeks after announcing the rescheduled dates for her residency at Caesars Palace’s Colosseum on the Las Vegas Strip, she offered an explanation of why it was postponed, telling Elle, “There was just no soul in it.” Her new show, dubbed “Weekends With Adele,” will kick off in November and run through March 2023.
Adele’s previous release, 25, came out in November 2015. Check out “5 Takeaways from Adele’s New Album 30” on the Pitch.
