I believe our partnership works because it allows both of us to focus on our area of expertise; Thread Vision in product design and development and Morgan creating content to grow her personal brand through custom and elevated products!
Meghan Forte: How did the phrase “Unhinged” inspire a product or hat creation idea for Ms. Morgan Leigh Willett?
Thread Vision and Morgan Leigh Willett: Morgan created the unhinged hat out of her personal association with the phrase and realized she was not alone in feeling somewhat unhinged… it’s for the girl who…Loves being in bed by ten but enjoys a good feral night out. Prioritizes health and fitness but will never turn down a spicy marg. Goes to therapy but spirals often. Lives by their organized to-do list but also has no clue wtf is going on. We can all relate!
Meghan Forte: What was the design process like for the hat?
Thread Vision and Morgan Leigh Willett: Morgan is the creative force behind the products, ensuring the most authentic and aligned styles possible. She shares her initial concept with us and her talented graphic designer, Casey Jones, who develops the graphics and overall design concept. Once passed to Thread Vision, we bring the concept to life by refining the art size and placement, enhancing branding details, and sourcing materials and colors. After approving the details, we create samples to ensure the final product matches our vision. The samples for the “Unhinged” hat executed beautifully, leading to immediate success. The style sold out twice, and it’s now available in a sleek new black colorway.

Thread Vision and Morgan Leigh Willett: Yes! Morgan has had consistent success with multiple products year after year.
