Are you having issues with your AirPods?
AirPods are a common accessory beloved by Apple enthusiasts and casual listeners alike. Many people purchase multiple AirPods and use them commonly throughout their daily lives. While AirPods are fantastic in many ways, they aren’t perfect by any means.
Do you want to know how to fix common AirPod technology problems? Then you’re in the right place. Here are the most common AirPod technology issues and how to fix them.
- Connectivity Issues
One of the most common AirPod problems is connectivity issues. If your AirPods are not connecting to your device, there are a few steps you can take to troubleshoot the problem.
First, make sure your AirPods are charged and turned on. If they are, try resetting them at the back of the case and hold back the button. Do this until the LED light starts flashing. Then, reconnect your AirPods to your device by going to the Bluetooth settings on your device and selecting your AirPods.
- Poor Battery Life
Another common problem with AirPods is poor battery life. If you find that your AirPods aren’t holding a charge for as long as they should, you can do a few things to conserve battery life. Try disabling the “Hey Siri” feature, as this can drain the battery.
You can also turn off automatic ear detection, which pauses your music when you take your AirPods out of your ears. This can also drain the battery. Additionally, make sure your AirPods are properly seated in the charging case and charging properly.
- Unresponsive Touch Controls
The touch controls on your AirPods allow you to control your music playback, answer and end phone calls, and activate Siri. If your AirPods’ touch controls aren’t working, there are a few things you can do to troubleshoot the problem.
First, ensure the earbuds’ sensors are clean and free of debris. If they are, try resetting your AirPods. You can do this the same as how we discussed above. Then, re-pair your AirPods with your device and try again. If you need a replacement for my left AirPod, contact Re-Cell immediately.
- Low Volume
If you find that the volume on your AirPods is too low, the first thing you should check is the volume on your device. Make sure it is turned up to an appropriate level. If that doesn’t work, try resetting your AirPods and reconnecting them to your device.
- Audio Quality Issues
If the sound quality on your AirPods could be better, it can be frustrating. One reason could be that the earbuds are not properly inserted into your ears.
Make sure they are seated securely and snugly in your ears. You can also try resetting your AirPods, checking for any obstructions in the earbuds, and cleaning the ear tips.
