WARNING! THIS ARTICLE CONTAINS MAJOR SPOILERS ABOUT THE MASKED SINGER SEASON 14!The Masked Singer season 14 contestant Calla Lily inspired everyone with her phenomenal Fear Night performance, and her clue package had many hints about who she might be: The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Teddi Mellencamp. The Masked Singer season 14 welcomed back host Nick Cannon, along with panelists Robin Thicke, Jenny McCarthy-Wahlberg, Ken Jeong, and Rita Ora. Throughout the season, 18 contestants will compete to win the Golden Mask Trophy.
During The Masked Singer season 14 Fear Night, Calla Lily competed against four other contestants, including Le Who Who, High Voltage, Owl, and Eggplant. At the beginning of the episode, the Croissants were eliminated after their premiere night performance and revealed to be Todd and Julie Chrisley, while Le Who Who was unmasked at the end of the episode and was revealed to be Tiffany Haddish.
Although Calla Lily advanced to the next round of The Masked Singer season 14 after her beautiful performance of “Fight Song” by Rachel Platten, and she wasn’t unmasked, her identity has become obvious because of her clues. The panelists guessed that she was Selma Blair (Rita) or Christina Applegate (Ken), but they’re most likely wrong. Here are all of Calla Lily’s clues, and how they relate to Teddi Mellencamp.
A Health Crisis
During The Masked Singer season 14 Fear Night, Calla Lily revealed that she’s been battling a health crisis. She explained that lilies represent life’s beauty, both the happy and the sad, and she was recently reminded about how precious it all is. Calla Lily added that the doctors didn’t catch her health issue at first, but she knew that something was wrong. Therefore, she pushed back because she needed answers.
Calla Lily continued that when the doctors told her the diagnosis, her world stopped. However, she then thought about her children. As Calla Lily said this, she looked at a picture of three Calla Lily children.
These clues relate to Teddi because, in March 2022, she was diagnosed with stage II melanoma, a type of skin cancer, and she had it removed. She was later hospitalized with numerous brain tumors after she’d had debilitating headaches for several weeks. They’d been silently growing for six months.
In April 2025, Teddi announced that the melanoma had progressed to stage IV, spreading to her brain and lungs, but in October 2025, she reported the wonderful news that there was no detectable cancer in her body. Teddi will continue to undergo immunotherapy treatments for another year. Teddi has discussed how her melanoma was not caught early before it spread, despite numerous routine checkups with her doctor.
Calla Lily went on to say that she chose to face her fears and fight, and it seems to be working. Calla Lily added that she has good days and bad ones, but, when the opportunity to compete in The Masked Singer season 14 popped up, she jumped at it. She said that she was nervous but present. Calla Lily concluded by saying that she was ready to show her kids, “It’s what we do: keep loving without any fear.”
After her Masked Singer performance, Calla Lily said that she felt really blessed to be there because, if it was a year ago, she had a 1% chance. She said that she was so happy, and that The Masked Singer was her kids’ favorite show. Teddi’s initial diagnosis was grim, but she’s now doing incredibly well.
An Engagement Ring
One of Calla Lily’s Masked Singer visual clues was an engagement ring. This most likely refers to the fact that she’s one of the Real Housewives. Teddi starred in The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills from 2017-2020 as a main cast member in seasons 8-10, and then as a guest star from 2021-2024 in seasons 11-13.
In addition, before The Masked Singer season 14 premiere, Us Weekly revealed a sneak peek clue about Calla Lily, which was a photograph of her standing in front of the Beverly Hills sign. This is further confirmation that Calla Lily is Teddi.
Three Children
In Calla Lily’s Masked Singer clue package, she held a picture of three children, stating that she fought her disease for them. Teddi is the mother of three children: daughter Slate, born on October 6, 2012; son Cruz, born on August 21, 2014; and daughter Dove, born on February 25, 2020. Teddi shares her children with her ex-husband, Edwin Arroyave.
A Dove
During Calla Lily’s clue package, a dove flew by in a scene, as she said that she still has good days and bad ones after her diagnosis. Teddi’s youngest child’s name is Dove.
An Anchor
In one of Cally Lily’s Masked Singer Fear Night clue package scenes, she was watering plants with a watering can with an anchor printed on it. This could refer to the fact that Teddi hosts the podcast, Two Ts in a Pod, along with her fellow Housewife, Tamra Judge. Another word for a broadcaster is an anchor.
In addition, on November 29, 2023, Teddi was a special correspondent for Extra, interviewing guests as DirecTV Celebrates Christmas at Kathy’s, which was Kathy Hilton’s event. The anchor could also refer to the fact that Teddi’s son’s name is Cruz because a cruise ship has an anchor.
A Film Slate
After Calla Lily’s performance, another clue about her identity was revealed, which was a film slate that said, “8 Roll, X Scene, 11 Shot, 13 Take,” and listed her as the director. She explained, “I can tell you this is the most important role of my life.” This most likely referred to Teddi’s starring role in The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills because the numbers correspond to the seasons she was on the show: 8-10 as a star, and 10-13 as a guest. X means 10 in Roman numerals.
In addition, Teddi’s daughter is named Slate, and being a mother is the most important thing to her.
Although this is still speculation, all of Calla Lily’s Masked Singer season 14 clues seemed to point in the direction of Teddi. From her health battle to her career to her family, the clues match her perfectly. As The Masked Singer season 14 continues, more clues will be revealed about Calla Lily. It’s going to be so wonderful to see her grow in the competition.
The Masked Singer airs Wednesdays at 8 p.m. ET on FOX.
