Caroline Stanbury has a horrible start to her vacation after The Real Housewives of Dubai star and her family are robbed as soon as they get there.
Caroline Stanbury didn’t get to enjoy her family vacation to Greece after The Real Housewives of Dubai star was robbed shortly after her arrival. Caroline has been enjoying her return to reality television as a member of the inaugural cast of the newest franchise. Fans are getting an inside look into Caroline’s life with her husband, former Real Madrid soccer player Sergio Carallo, and three children. The stylist turned reality star made her return to television after starring in Ladies of London and making extended appearances on Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles.
The last time fans saw her she was married to her ex-husband, financier Cem Habib, with whom she shares her three children. The pair divorced in 2019, and Caroline found love with Sergio. RHODubai viewers have seen how serious Caroline takes her relationship with Sergio and how combative she can get over him. A recent episode saw Caroline attack Lesa Milan and Chanel Ayan for getting too close to her husband. As the reality TV veteran of the bunch, Caroline has already positioned herself as one of the leaders of the pack. With Lesa and Chanel sharing similar alpha personalities, the ladies are already off to a rocky start.
However, the TV drama is nothing like the frightening encounter Caroline and her family had upon their arrival to Mykonos, Greece. The Bravo star took to her Instagram Story over the weekend to reveal the robbery she experienced at her house after arriving for vacation. “So …. having set off on our holiday and landing within 3 hours we were robbed,” Caroline revealed in a post captured by Page Six. Caroline was in Greece with her husband and three children, celebrating her daughter Yasmine receiving a General Certificate of Secondary Education when the vacation “turned into a nightmare.” Caroline recalled coming home “to the men still in our house,” she wrote. The culprits stole “so much,” she said. But the family members were all safe.
After noting how “scary” the experience was, Caroline called out the thieves and others causing pain to others. “This is the f–king problem with the society and people.. and why the world is becoming this way,” Caroline quipped. In a separate photo showing a broken lock on a door, Caroline Stanbury said she has hired security following the attack. The UK native also praised Dubai for being somewhere she feels “safe and secure.” Caroline went into more detail about the robbery while speaking to People and revealed the robbers stole her husband’s wedding ring, and “he’s absolutely destroyed” over it. Caroline and Sergio were in the process of moving to a less remote location and were returning to pack their belongings when they arrived home and realized they were being robbed.
Caroline said the “scariest” part was arriving while the robbers were still inside. The Real Housewives of Dubai star is thankful she and her family are all safe. But they are devastated by the experience and the precious items that were stolen. Caroline Stanbury isn’t the first Housewives star to experience a horrific robbery. Dorit Kemsley of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills was the victim of a home invasion. Season 12 of the show is following her journey of healing after being held at gunpoint while her young children were inside the house.
