After the intense season 1 finale of Kevin Can F**k Himself, Annie Murphy’s Allison faces an ominous future as she plots to leave Kevin for good.
The teaser trailer for the upcoming season of Kevin Can F**k Himself has just dropped, along with an official release date for season 2. After a strong season 1, Kevin Can F**k Himself was renewed for a second and final season. The show follows Annie Murphy as Allison, a woman desperate to escape her relationship. The title of the show is a reference to the 2016 sitcom Kevin Can Wait, which was condemned for portraying the lead character’s wife as disposable. On that show, Erinn Hayes played Kevin’s dutiful wife Donna for one season before being killed off to make room for a new female lead.
The Kevin Can F**k Himself season 2 trailer gives fans an idea of what to expect from the show’s final episodes. Murphy’s character faces an ominous future as Allison declares she’s leaving after 15 miserable years with Kevin, but that she needs to be “gone for good.” The cemetery imagery over this dialogue implies that season 2 could see Allison take inspiration from Kevin Can Wait’s Donna, potentially faking her own death to get away from her husband. Fans can expect the first two episodes of Kevin Can F**k Himself on August 22. See the clip below:

Few plot details are known about Kevin Can F**k Himself season 2, but official word from AMC seemingly supports the idea that Allison will fake her death with a statement that says: “It’s Kevin’s world, Allison’s just living in it. Or is she?” The final season also furthers the Kevin Can Wait satire as Hayes joins the cast as an unknown character. Kevin Can F**k Himself Season 2 is set to pick up with Allison and Patty (Mary Hollis Inboden) working together to deal with the fallout from the intense season 1 finale, and, hopefully, build a better future.
