Here’s what comes with Disney’s Kaiburr Crystal, the $5,000 Star Wars-themed drink served in the Hyperspace Lounge on the Disney Wish cruise ship.
Disney made headlines recently with the announcement of a $5,000 Star Wars-themed cocktail that will soon be available on its newest cruise ship, the Disney Wish. The exorbitant drink, named the Kaiburr Crystal, will be sold exclusively at the ship’s Hyperspace Lounge, an immersive bar that will allow guests to step into the Star Wars universe for a nightcap. It’s one of many Star Wars-centric attractions on the ship.
But even if someone is willing to fork over the $5k for a drink, which Disney is marketing as, “the most expensive drink in the galaxy,” getting into the lounge is no guarantee. The adults-only section of the ship has a strict capacity of 50 and guests need to reserve their spots in advance if they want to take in the experience. So what, exactly, does somebody get if they make it through the door and order a Kaiburr Crystal?
Thanks to Arthur’s About Theme Parks, there’s now more information about what’s included with the hefty price tag. For starters, guests will have their drinks presented to them in a replica Camtono, the in-universe storage device introduced in The Empire Strikes Back and most recently seen in The Book of Boba Fett. With a press of a button and a turn of a dial, it opens with lights, smoke, and sound effects. Inside the Camtono are several glasses containing a concoction of high-end cognac, bourbon, port, and a blend of fruits. Guests can keep the silver cups and plate used to serve the drinks (not the Camtono) and will receive additional amenities in their rooms, including a custom bottle of Skywalker Vineyards wine. But perhaps the most enticing aspect of the drink order is that it also comes with an invitation to the vineyard itself.

Skywalker Vineyard is located on Skywalker Ranch, George Lucas’ California Star Wars HQ. It’s not generally open to the public, meaning, along with everything else, the $5,000 order also presents a truly unique experience most people won’t ever get to enjoy. And while the Kaiburr Crystal may be the most expensive Star Wars-themed drink on the menu, it’s far from the only one. Visitors can also choose from other custom cocktails like the Cloud City or the Baby Yoda-inspired Temple Twist.
While a $5,000 drink order seems outrageous at face value, it does offer Star Wars devotees serious bragging rights and a chance to visit the property where much of the work is done on their favorite movies. Considering an original X-Wing model recently sold at auction for $2.3 million, it’s clear that die-hard fans are willing to put up big bucks to show their love for the franchise. While most Star Wars fans likely wouldn’t be able to justify the cost of a Kaiburr Crystal, the novelty and spectacle of it alone is enough to grab people’s attention.
