Building towards a cosmic crossover as DC goes “All-In” on its biggest properties, the new issue of Justice League Unlimited sees the heroes finally turn the fight back against the Legion of Doom. But not in any wayy either readers or the heroes themselves expect, with an accidental twist summoning a new League through time and the Multiverse, recruiting Batman Beyond Terry McGinnis, Zero Year Batman, the one-handed Aquaman, Jonah Hex, and more.
The surprise arrival of this new incarnation of the titular Justice League Unlimited certainly proves the name true, while making the green-suited new hero Air Wave one of the most important in the DC pantheon. Not only is the surprise roster the only hope for victory, but a tease of even more incredible crossovers to come as the series builds towards DC’s epic We Are Yesterday climax.
