There have been dozens of internationally-based couples who have documented the process of finally meeting, and many have had interesting and memorable backstories. From losing weight to moving on from their relationship, their life changes are constantly being scrutinized by fans keeping tabs on their favorite 90 Day Fiancé stars.
Although there are some cast members whose lives have remained relatively the same since starring on 90 Day Fiancé, others have experienced tremendous life changes. These cast members truly have come a long way since joining the franchise. Here are some former 90 Day Fiancé stars who have completely transformed their lives for the better.
Jorge Nava
Viewers first met Jorge Nava when he starred on 90 Day Fiancé season 4 with Anfisa Arkhipchenko. Jorge and Anfisa had a tumultuous relationship, although the two did get married and joined 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? season 2. Fans felt bad for Jorge, as Anfisa made it clear she was only with Jorge for his money. In 2018, Jorge was arrested and sentenced to two-and-a-half years in prison for drug possession, and it looked like the star had hit rock bottom. Jorge had completely changed his life around since being released from prison, starting with his divorce from Anfisa in 2020. Jorge has lost over 120 pounds since being locked up and has also found love with girlfriend Rhonda Blue. Jorge and Rhonda are the proud parents of two kids as well: Zara, one, and George, who was born on March 22.
David Toborowksy
David Toborowksy and Annie Suwan are known as one of the most successful 90 Day Fiancé couples, but they didn’t start that way. When viewers met David on 90 Day Fiancé season 5, they weren’t convinced that he and Annie, who is from Thailand, would work out. At the time, David was unemployed and relied on the support of his friends Chris Thieneman and Nikki Cooper. Chris and Nikki not only let David and Annie live in their house, but the duo also co-sponsored Annie’s K-1 visa. Despite their initial problems, David and Annie’s marriage has remained strong since they tied the knot in 2017. The duo now operates several successful businesses like Cooking With DNA. Besides continuing to star in 90 Day Fiancé spin-offs like David and Annie: After the 90 Days, David, like Jorge, has also been dedicated to losing weight, which fans have praised him for.
Juliana Custodio
Juliana Custodio’s life has done a complete 180 since starring on 90 Day Fiancé season 7. When viewers first met Juliana, she was a 23-year-old up-and-coming model from Brazil. Born and raised in poverty, Juliana and Michael Jessen’s two-year marriage was plagued by controversy between both partners. Juliana and Michael separated last October, with Juliana filing for divorce this past February. Since appearing on 90 Day Fiancé, Juliana’s modeling career has taken off, with the star working in countries like Germany. In addition, Juliana is now happily in love with boyfriend Ben Obscura and is pregnant with their first child, who is due in July.
90 Day Fiancé season 9 airs Sundays at 8 p.m. EST on TLC.
