1000-lb Sisters’ Amy Halterman recently gave birth to her second son, Glenn, and since then, she has been sharing adorable pictures of him.
Amy Halterman, one of the stars of 1000-lb Sisters, recently announced the birth of her second son, and fans who follow her on Instagram are really enjoying the photos of her newborn. Amy’s first son is Gage Deon Halterman, and he now has a little brother named Glenn Allen Halterman. Amy has been on a weight loss journey since the start of the show, and is focusing on her health even more now, for the sake of her young sons.
34-year-old Amy and 36-year-old Tammy Slaton are the co-stars of 1000-lb Sisters. When the show first began, Tammy was over 600 pounds. Amy was over 400 pounds, and viewers were immediately worried about the reality stars’ health due to their weights. For most of their lives, they have struggled to eat moderate portions and exercise, but Amy lost enough weight to qualify for gastric bypass surgery. She weighs under 300 pounds now.
Amy was worried about the effect her poor health would have on a child. When she became pregnant with Gage back in 2020, she made a firm decision to change her ways. The 1000-lb Sisters star was just as excited during her second pregnancy, as she posted frequent and enthusiastic Instagram updates about expecting another baby. As she moved through her trimesters with Glenn, Amy posted pictures of foods that were around the same length and weight he was in the womb. This made fans nearly as excited as she was about baby Glenn coming into the world.
Family Of Four
On July 8, Amy posted an Instagram picture of herself, Michael, and the latest addition to the family, Glenn. 1000-lb Sisters fans were gushing over the post, which included four pictures. Amy, with blue hair. matched her baby boy’s first hat, and he was sleeping peacefully in the picture. She also added a picture of Gage being the doting older brother, and holding Glenn for the first time.
Mom & Son Cuddles
Amy showed off a brand-new hairstyle (and her adorable newborn) in a post that melted fans’ hearts. The 1000-lb Sisters star was pictured kissing Glenn‘s head while he wore the sweetest little camouflage onesie. Amy captioned the post, “Before bed cuddles!” and fans were torn about whether to compliment her about her new hair color, or praise the cute baby in her arms.
Big Brother Gage
Amy looked the happiest she has ever been in this Instagram post, which thrilled a lot of 1000-lb Sisters fans. She showed off both of her babies cuddling, adding that Gage is already an attentive big brother. He shared that he wanted to keep holding Glenn. Although there have been a rollercoaster of emotions over three seasons of the show, fans are excited about the happy times that Amy and her new family of four are enjoying.
