Jurassic World Evolution 2 is a simulation game that allows players to build the Jurassic Park of their dreams and earn many achievements. Some of these trophies are harder to get, whether because they are easily missed, the mechanics to earn them can be annoying, or purely because of the difficulty setting needed to unlock them. Most of the trophies on this list are from the base game, but a couple were added with updates,, and one is from the Dominion Malta DLC expansion.
Games like Jurassic World Evolution 2 often involve creating a beautiful park or creating chaos, and occasionally this consists in doing both. However, with most of these trophies, players will have to take the game quite seriously to get far enough to achieve them. The difficulty of attaining these trophies is based on the number of players who have earned them as the PlayStation Network ranks them and are all considered Ultra Rare. That being said, some of these could be easier or harder than other trophies, depending on different play styles and the order in which players complete the various aspects of the game.
10 Dinosaur Whisperer
This is considered hard to get by the ratings, but it is the easiest one on this list, and for good reason. While this is a very easy trophy to miss, it can be easily completed once players know what must be done. Find a Challenge map where Psychological Trauma is available, which will be many maps after Update 1.6, where the trophy was added to the game. Washington State Wreckage is the best one, as the Kentrosaurus on this map is a good candidate for gaining and healing trauma. Allow them to be traumatized and then heal all five of them to earn the achievement.
Building an insufficient enclosure around them and leaving them for a little while should be enough to get them psychological trauma and heal it by bringing the enclosure up to par. Make sure there is a scientist with the Psychologist trait on staff.
9 Clever Girl
This trophy was added as part of Update 1.4 to Jurassic World Evolution 2 and is earned by tranquilizing a dinosaur with the intelligent trait, which is often the most powerful dinosaur in Jurassic World Evolution 2. This will be easiest on a Challenge map with multiple roaming intelligent species, such as the T-Rex or the Velociraptor. This earns a spot on the list by possibly being the most annoying trophy, as this achievement will not pop for an automatic tranquilizer. Players must manually use the helicopter and tranquilize intelligent species themselves. These species are harder to do than others, but the achievement should be easier than others on this list.
8 You’ve Done Well
This is the first of the Challenge mode trophies on this list that players have to earn. These are all completed by finishing them on the hardest difficulty, Jurassic, and fulfilling the requirements necessary. However, this Challenge can be easier than the others on this list, as the added stipulations only keep players from modifying the genomes and appealing to only Luxury and Nature Guests. Monetarily, players will need to earn $1,750,000 per minute and a five-star park rating.
7 That, That was a Challenge
Again, this trophy is earned by completing a Challenge on the most difficult setting in Jurassic World Evolution 2. This is the first Challenge Map and takes place in Canada, so that it will be slightly easier than some of the others on this list. The main difficulty on this map will be dealing with the snowstorms that hit periodically and recovering the damage done to income by them. For this Challenge, players will have to earn a total income of $1,200,000 per minute and have a five-star rating. While the par time is 9 hours, players do not have to finish it in this time.
6 You Can’t Engineer Loyalty
This trophy is part of the Dominion Malta Expansion for Jurassic World Evolution 2. It is ranked among the rarer trophies to get, although it may not be the hardest to complete due to fewer players having access to the DLC. However, it can be quite tricky to earn this achievement due to some of the extenuating factors. Mainly, both parties have to have max loyalty at the same exact time, and sometimes fulfilling a contract or gaining a dinosaur for one will negate the other. However, continuing to do as much as possible for both factions will eventually earn players this trophy.
5 I Can See Everything
This gold trophy will take some time to complete as it requires filling out every entry in the Jurassic World Database. Most of these entries will be unlocked in Jurassic World Evolution 2 simply by completing various parts of the game, but the database covers six large categories, including Dinosaurs, Paleontology, Buildings, the Jurassic Universe, Ailments, and Paleobotany. This will take grinding through the entire game, but crucially, this does not include any entries restricted to DLC content. While there is some crossover in the database, it will not be required if something is only available in a downloadable content pack.
4 You Call That a Challenge?
In the Southwest USA, this Challenge map must be completed on Jurassic Difficulty to earn this Jurassic World Evolution 2 trophy. The starting budget is relatively high at $3 million, but there are only six power sources and a large amount of income spent on scientists. While there are no building upgrades, scientists are needed to help increase the health of the dinosaurs. On this map, the dinosaurs will die off faster, leading to the challenge of keeping the park rating up while dinosaurs perish. To finish this challenge, earn $2,000,000 total income per minute and a five-star park rating.
3 Challenge Your Limits
This Challenge related trophy asks players to complete the 4th Challenge map in the Northwest USA on Jurassic Difficulty. This challenge can be difficult due to the high demand for Carnivores while keeping the park safe and keeping the Carnivores well-fed. Guests are also limited to “Adventure” guests only. However, this type of guest will also be drawn in by the Carnivores this park caters to. This park has the highest total income required, at $2,250,000 per minute, with a five-star park rating.
2 Was That Tough?
This is the most difficult challenge-related trophy – or at least the one least completed – to earn in Jurassic World Evolution 2. This Challenge is difficult due to the monetary aspects, as the starting budget is $0. Immediately the profit will be in the negative due to staff wages, and after income has started to balance out, players will be battling frequent severe storms that hinder progress. Recovering well from each storm is key to raising income and a park rating high enough to earn the trophy. Complete the challenge by earning $1,100,000 total income per minute and a five-star park rating.
1 Change Was Inevitable
This trophy requires players to get every other trophy in Jurassic World Evolution 2, including the other hardest trophies on this list. That means it will take quite a few hours to complete, as players will have to grind through the game to do so. This is for the base game, so it should be achieved after completing every base game trophy. This is true with most games, but it will take a lot of time to track this one down, as even one Challenge Map takes around 9 hours to complete.
