On Tuesday, House Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) hosted a special screening of the new hit movie Sound Of Freedom in Washington D.C. There, the film’s star Jim Caviezel sent a major message to the Republican Speaker that we all need to hear.
The Sound of Freedom movie faced every obstacle imaginable in coming to theaters.

Jim Caviezel’s Powerful Message
Before the screening, McCarthy interviewed Caviezel and Tim Ballard, the real-life former Homeland Security agent whose story is portrayed in the movie. During this conversation, McCarthy asked Caviezel what he hopes audiences will take away from the anti-child trafficking film.
“When God tells you to do something, you don’t hesitate,” the former Passion of the Christ star replied.
Ballard then opened up about why he feels Sound Of Freedom has been such a huge success, as it’s already made over $127 million as of this writing, according to Deadline.
“The people are tired of just being entertained,” he said. “They want to have purpose to what they’re looking at and watching.”
“I think God’s touched millions of hearts to wake up and they’ve used this amazing film to do that,” he continued.

McCarthy had announced earlier in the day that he was going to be hosting this screening, inviting both Republicans and Democrats to attend.
“Tonight, I’m going to have another movie night, we’re going to show the ‘Sound of Freedom,’” McCarthy said, according to Fox News. “Hopefully Republicans and Democrats can come together, see a movie about human trafficking, and actually find ways to stop the human trafficking that’s continuing to move throughout the world.”

Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) revealed on Tuesday that she would be attending the screening.
“America is number 1 in the world in consuming child pornography and child sex trafficking and the Biden Administration has lost over 85,000 migrant children,” Greene tweeted. “These are the most appalling statistics. Tonight I’m looking forward to watching Sound of Freedom and stopping evil.”

Trump Hosts Sound Of Freedom Screening
Earlier this month, the former President Donald Trump hosted a screening of Sound Of Freedom at his golf club in Bedminster, New Jersey.
“I hope you enjoyed it. It’s something I’m not sure if you’re supposed to enjoy or learn — it’s a combination. But that was a great movie,” Trump said afterwards. “Now I understand why it’s doing so well.”
Addressing Caviezel, Trump added, “it was an honor getting to know you.”
“I hope everyone had a fantastic time,” the former president concluded. “It’s an incredible inspiration.”

The next morning, Caviezel praised Trump during an interview with “Fox & Friends.”
“This is the new Moses. I mean, I’m still Jesus, but he’s the new Moses. Pharaoh, let my children go free,” he joked.

Sound Of Freedom A Huge Success
Sound Of Freedom has become a huge success despite not having the backing of mainstream Hollywood. The film took five years to make and was even dropped by Disney at one point during production, according to Fox 8, yet it persevered. Many actors passed on the lead role of Ballard, but the real-life former agent is grateful that the “amazing” Caviezel ended up playing him.
“They passed. And I believe things happen for a reason,” Ballard himself told Fox News. “Thank God that they passed, because Jim Caviezel is amazing. This guy is not only an amazing actor, but he’s passionate about this.”

The success of Sound Of Freedom just goes to show that Americans want to see these types of movies far more than they want to see the woke nonsense that is constantly being put forth by Hollywood these days.
