THE AMERICAN RELICS release The Temperature is Hot” represents an avant-garde approach to rock of the past while exploring a modernistic submission with an element of the music of today. The music leads us through a journey with shadows from times gone by but at the same time lends itself to the dance music played by the DJ’s in the hottest clubs in Miami with its Latino flavor.
Those making up the band include frontman, guitarist, vocalist and head songwriter John Gitano who is also the brainchild of the band. It also includes Adrienne Dugger the vocalist who celebrated a thriving opera career. Nelson Montana is a multi-instrumentalist who plays bass for the group as well as arranges and produces much of the music. Joni Ernst handles the keys, Ian Zane plays guitar and Josh Salant is a musical engineer who also plays the drums.
The American Relics can and do adventure into many genres with ease. They are all iconic musicians in their own right and each of their songs have their own distinctive flair. “The Temperature is Hot” is a spirited array of party, fun and a compelling cascade of life. It’s danceable, commercially friendly and addictive. It can be heard globally on all virtual platforms and is available to stream.
