Copies of Xenoblade Chronicles 3 have been leaked, with the RPG’s story and cutscenes already appearing online ahead of the game’s July 29 launch.
The upcoming action RPG Xenoblade Chronicles 3, set for release on July 29, has been leaked a week early. The next entry in the beloved Nintendo series will once again combine fantasy and sci-fi elements by casting players as fugitives running from the warring nations of Keves and Agnus. Now some people have gotten their hands on the game ahead of the release of Xenoblade Chronicles 3 on Nintendo Switch, potentially spreading spoilers across the internet.
Previous Xenoblade Chronicles titles have dealt with the clash between futuristic machines and organic humans, and the third entry looks set to continue this trend. The RPG will take players to Aionios, a world composed of the industrial nation of Keves and the mystical nation of Agnus. These two lands are stuck in perpetual war, and players will be dragged into the middle of the conflict when they are cast as both a Keves resident named Noah and an Agnus resident named Mio. Xenoblade Chronicles 3 will overhaul combat, letting players switch characters during battle and use quest navigation during travel. A Xenoblade Chronicles 3 Expansion Pass has also been announced, with developer Monolith Soft set to support the game long after release.
A report from Nintendo Life reveals that copies of Xenoblade Chronicles 3 have been obtained prior to the title’s July 29 release date. These physical copies of Nintendo Switch title have also begun appearing on auction websites for inflated prices, and the title’s entire run of cutscenes has already been uploaded online. The unofficial Xenoblade Chronicles Twitter account warns fans that the game’s plot will likely spread across the internet quickly, so those wishing to avoid spoilers should stop going online until the title’s launch date. Nintendo Life reports that Monolith Soft has been taking down notable leaks, but caution is still advised.

Just as leakers threaten to spoil the game’s plot, Xenoblade Chronicles 3 Special Edition scalpers recently ruined another experience for fans. The upcoming title’s exciting Special Edition went up for preorder at the beginning of July, but scalpers quickly bought up the entire stock. They then began selling these valuable pre-orders online for a massive profit, making it impossible for actual fans to find the game at a reasonable price. Xenoblade Chronicles 3 and its fantasy storyline have now been leaked online, threatening to ruin the fun for diehard fans yet again.
Xenoblade Chronicles 3 promises to deliver another robust RPG experience by taking players across a fascinating sci-fi world and casting them as a lovable group of adventurers. Unfortunately the title has been leaked into the wild, allowing the plot to make its way online and threatening to spoil the fun for fans. Xenoblade Chronicles 3 launches in less than a week, so fans looking to avoid spoilers are encouraged to stay off the internet until then.
Xenoblade Chronicles 3 will release on July 29 for Nintendo Switch.
