To unlock Nekros in Waframe, Tenno must first purchase the Frame’s main Blueprint from the Market and then farm more Blueprints from a specific Boss.
Nekros is a playable Frame in Warframe capable of restoring Health whenever a nearby enemy dies. Gamers who relish dark, necromancer-esque characters or playstyles will appreciate Nekros’ abilities to exploit the vulnerabilities of the living or the corpses of the dead. Accordingly, this Warframe comes equipped with Soul Punch, Terrify, Desecrate, and Shadows Of The Dead. Soul Punch is an Impact-Damage dealing ability in Warframe that marks enemy targets, and those who are killed while the mark is active will become Nekros’ Shadows of the Dead.
Terrify is a CC ability that releases a psychic blast that debuffs enemy armor and causes them to flee in terror. Desecrate produces additional loot from slain enemies, and Shadows of the Dead allows Nekros to raise defeated hostile mobs from the dead as temporary allies. Needless to say, these Abilities perfectly portray Nekros as a Warframe well-versed in the dark arts, using enemies as pawns for both extra loot and support in combat.
To unlock Nekros in Warframe, players can purchase the Frame’s main Blueprint from the Market at a base price of 100,000 Credits. However, to acquire his Component Blueprints, Tenno must find and defeat a formidable Warframe enemy on Magnacidium, Deimos, known as Lephantis.
Unlocking Nekros In Warframe
Lephantis is a three-headed Infested Boss in Warframe that can be encountered during the Mission, “Magnacidium (Deimos) – Infestation – Assassination.” Infested Corpus, Infested Grineer, and Ancient Infested are the names of the beast’s heads, each featuring their own mechanics Tenno must deal with in combat. Due to the nature of this boss battle, players are highly recommended to face Lephantis with a ranged or projectile-firing weapon since Melee armaments are ineffective for this fight.
To defeat Lephantis in Warframe, Tenno should bear in mind the following mechanics:
- All three of Lephantis’ heads have a red area around the top of their visible body. This red area is the monster’s weak spot and should be fired at whenever the opportunity arises.
- The Infested Corpus enemy creature in Warframe has a large maw that will spew Poison grenades at the player. Be sure not to stand in the lingering Toxin clouds left behind by the projectiles’ explosions.
- The Infested Grineer will sweep the area around its head with a large scythe-like blade. Players should keep their distance and continue attacking its weak red spot.
- Similar to the Infested Corpus, the Ancient Infested will spit explosive projectiles at the player. Therefore, observing where the bombs land is crucial for evasion.
- During Phase 2, the boss combines all three heads into a monstrosity that uses every offensive mechanic mentioned above at once.
Once Tenno has defeated Lephantis, they will receive a Nekros Component Blueprint as a reward. Repeat this process to farm all the Frame’s craftable Blueprints in Warframe.
Warframe is available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
