Paramount+ drops a brand-new first-look poster for their forthcoming superhero film Secret Headquarters, which is set to release this August. Directed by Henry Joost and Ariel Schulman (Nerve, Project Power), Secret Headquarters features an ensemble cast led by Owen Wilson, who is joined by Walker Scobell (The Adam Project), Michael Peña, Jesse Williams, Momona Tamada, Keith L. Williams, Abby James Witherspoon, and Kezii Curtis. The story of the film revolves around a boy named Charlie Kincaid and his friends, as they begin to believe that his father is a superhero after finding a secret headquarters under his home.
Now, Paramount+ unveils an official first-look Secret Headquarters poster, teasing Wilson’s character in a super suit. The poster offers just a glimpse of Wilson’s face, with the focus solely on the outfit, which features a hexagonal composition throughout the torso and a flashy chest piece reminiscent of Tony Stark’s arc-reactor, followed by a caption below it reading, “Not all Dads wear business suits.” Check out the cool new poster below:
The Midnight in Paris actor was last seen opposite Jennifer Lopez in the rom-com film Marry Me, which was released earlier this year, and is also set to reprise his role as Mobius in Loki season 2, which is currently filming. Secret Headquarters marks the first time that the celebrated American actor is cast as a superhero, and expectations are understandably high for moviegoers, who are hoping for an entertaining, action-packed, family-friendly adventure. The film was initially scheduled for a theatrical debut, but was recently moved to a straight-to-streaming release. Audiences can check out Paramount’s newest superhero from the comfort of their homes when Secret Headquarters premieres on Paramount+ August 5.
