Andrea Denver opens up about the messy love triangle between Lindsay Hubbard, Ciara Miller, and Austen Kroll during Summer House season 6.
Andrea Denver recently revealed that Southern Charm’s Austen Kroll regrets coming to the Hamptons house during Summer House season 6. Fans first saw Andrea in the Summer House spinoff Winter House. The Italian model immediately charmed his Winter House castmates, particularly Paige DeSorbo. The two dated casually after the season ended and reconnected in Summer House season 6. However, their flirtation was brief, as Paige decided she wanted to be with Southern Charm star Craig Conover.
Winter House started a messy love triangle between Austen and Summer House stars Lindsay Hubbard and Ciara Miller. Lindsay had revealed that she and Austen, who had been friends for years, had a brief hookup. She was trying to rekindle things between them, but Austen had his sights set on Ciara. The two tried to make things work after Winter House wrapped, but they were in different places. During Summer House season 6, it became clear that Ciara wasn’t over Austen, and his visit during Lindsay’s birthday party started a war between the two women.
Andrea opened up about how he feels Austen portrayed himself during his Summer House appearance in a recent Behind the Velvet Rope with David Yontef podcast. While he feels bad for Austen, he admitted that the Southern Charm star should have stopped before getting himself embroiled in the love triangle with Ciara and Lindsay. Andrea shared, “He got really demonized by so many people and I think he is a good guy…I don’t think he deserved that social media hate that he got, but he definitely made a few mistakes.” When asked if Austen regrets coming into Summer House season 6, Andrea emphatically said, “Oh my God. He does. One hundred percent. He said he wishes he never would have come for Lindsay’s birthday.”
Austen’s appearance in Summer House caused tension when Ciara witnessed him making out with Lindsay. Austen was also flirtatious with Ciara, which caused fans to slam the Trop Hop brewer for playing with both women. Andrea admitted in Behind the Velvet Rope with David Yontef, “I think he still could have come, you know, we would have the best time. I think he should have been just more delicate with the feelings of the two ladies.” He went on to say that he doesn’t want to point fingers at anyone as all the parties involved were single.
Andrea has mentioned that he took a break from filming Winter House season 2 to spend time with his girlfriend, Lexi Sundin, whom he had mentioned in Summer House season 6. Fans witnessed as he broke down crying during his Italian dinner and confessed to his housemates that he had lost someone he loved. He admitted to making a mistake with her, and it was revealed that he was talking about Lexi. Following Summer House season 6, Andrea and Lexi reconnected and are now a couple. Andrea recently shared that he will not be returning for Summer House season 7, and is instead focusing on other endeavors.
